My adopted brother Yeonjun said with a roll of his eyes.
"It's a lot harder to release music than you think, Junie." I said, keeping my cool.
"I know it's going to be a major hit though. Take it from someone who's literally been waiting to add it to their playlists since they heard it the first time." He said with a smile on his face.
He placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder and nodded towards the screen when I looked at him, "All it takes is that one button, Y/n. I also believe that you're a few minutes over the scheduled time that we had set."
I immediately panicked and looked at the clock which had just struck 3pm in California.
I hurriedly hit all the tight buttons and sat back for a moment.
"Look at that. Streams already plus people talking about it all over social media." He said in amazement as he looked at the countless number of times my phone had already lit up from companies asking if they could use my new songs from the EP.
I smiled as well and moved my laptop screen from the Spotify lists and over to TikTok.
I searched for my name and saw a bunch of people are making videos with the sound.
"They've literally had time to listen to it twice maximum if they were waiting and have good internet." Yeonjun said as he watched a few TikToks with me.
I saw a few blue checkmark notifications pop up on my phone, letting me know that popular creators had tagged me in things, which wasn't anything unusual at this point.
I mean when you have over 135M across all platforms you get a bit used to seeing blue check marks pop up.
But it doesn't mean they mean anything less to you just because you see them often.

"Hey Jun?" I called out for my brother who was now sitting in my studio fucking around with my mic.
He walked over and looked at my screen, "Hm?"

I did what he said and decided to check the things he tagged me in first. He tagged me in a video of him brushing his teeth shirtless while lip-singing one of my new songs.
He then mentioned me in another post of his which read the words:
