Late Nights at The Burrow- George Weasley Fanfic

Arrival

Bella had been bored the past few weeks with her parents gone for the summer. She laid in her room wanting anything to do. Suddenly a 𝑡ℎ𝑢𝑛𝑘 hit Bella's window and Errol dropped a letter into Bella's hands.

"Thank you Errol."
Bella said to the owl sending it on its way.
Bella had been friends with all the Weasley's since her first year. She fancies George a whole lot, but doesn't think he fancies her back.

Bella began to open the letter to see George's kinda sloppy handwriting read

"Hey Bell,
      You should come over. Ginny won't stop bugging us, and I guess I miss you loser. Just kidding it's so peaceful without you. Only joking we all would love to have you, and we know that you have to be bored out of your mind with your parents being away for the summer. Write us back soon and we'll come over and pick you up.
- George"

Bella's stomach filled with butterflies at the letter. George was the only one who called her Bell and it made her feel flustered every time she heard it. She smiled at the letter and grabbed her quilt and parchment and started writing back.

"Hi Georgie,
I'll be ready to come over by 8:00 pm. See you soon, and I missed you all too.
-Bell"

Bella sent the letter off with her scops owl named Elle. She quickly jumped up and got her trunk out of her closet. She folded some clothes making sure to bring a couple dresses and fancy clothes just in case they have a need to dress up. She packed multiple big t-shirts, some spandex, quite a few crop tops, some mom jeans, a couple shorts, and some undergarments.

She put some soap, face wash, and her toothbrush into her trunk before closing it up and jumping onto her bed. She laid sprawled out on her bed, waiting until George came to pick her up. She rolled over and grabbed a book and began to read hoping to pass the time.

The sun began to set as 7 o'clock rolled around. Bella got up and took a shower. She dried off her body and put on a big sweater that Molly had made her for Christmas one year, and threw on some spandex before heading down stairs. She plopped herself down on the couch right as George busted open the door with Fred right by his side.

"WE'RE HERE HERNANDEZ !" George yelled from the doorway.

Bella laughed and got up from the couch.
"Calm down stupid I'm right here." She replied.  Fred and George laughed and ran up the stairs. Bella stared puzzled at the stairs confused as to what they were doing. She followed the twins up the stairs only to open her room door to see the twins each wearing one of her dresses from her closet.

She rolled her eyes at them. "You're gonna stretch it out dummy's," Bella said giggling. They soon took off her clothes, and as she hung them up George grabbed her trunk and walked it down the stairs and into the car.

Bella jogged down the stairs. She opened the front door to feel the warm air. Her hair was still wet dripping down her sweater as she got in the backseat of the Weasley's blue car. Fred was in the driver's seat and George was in the passenger seat.

Fred lifted the car up as it turned invisible. George turned up the radio to blast the stupid music that she loves (mainly because George loved it). When they finally arrived at the burrow George carried your stuff up to Ginny's room where Bella was staying.

"Finally, took you long enough." Ginny said running up to hug Bella. She gave her a tight squeeze before releasing her grip and calling out "BELLA'S HERE"  she smiled at Bella and asked "so how boring is it at your house?" Bella giggled and replied "Very."

Molly came out the kitchen and said "Oh, Hello my dear. It's so nice to see you." As she planted a kiss on Bella's forehead. Ron and Harry came rushing down the stairs as Hermione followed with a smile on her face.

"When did you get here?" Bella asked looking confused at Hermione. "Just a couple days ago" Hermione responded.

"Hey guys." Bella called out to Harry and Ron. They smiled and waved"Hey Bella, glad to see you again" Ron said as Harry nodded in agreement. Bella went up and hugged both of them.

"Gosh i missed you guys" She said buried into their shoulders.

"Must be real bored at your house then" Fred said walking down the stairs with George.
"Extremely to miss them. Us I understand. But them?" George added. Bella smiled at them shaking her head in disapproval.

"Diner's ready." Molly called from the kitchen.
All of them crowded around the table taking their seats. Bella took an open seat next in between George and Ginny. They all laughed and joked while eating their food.

When finished with dinner Bella headed upstairs with Ginny and Hermione, and into bed. As they laid there unable to sleep they started talking.
"We know you fancy him you know." Ginny said pausing "Don't know if he knows, but we do Bella and it's fine us"

Hermione added "Yeah,it's quite obvious. At least I think." There was a moment of silence between them for a second before Bella said "What are you two on about?" turning to face them. Ginny and Hermione sat up and smiled at each other.

"George of course" they both said smiling at Bella.
Bella turned slightly red as she sat up and said in protest "Do not. What in the world is going through your head." Ginny and Hermione laughed.
"We see the way you look at him Bella," Hermione said "And the way he looks at you." Ginny whispered making her and Hermione start giggling to each other.

Bella turned a little bit more red. "You guys are crazy." Bella said before turning around and pulling her cover up to her shoulders. Hermione and Ginny fell asleep not to long after, leaving Bella awake all by herself with just her thoughts.

Does he really look at me differently from the way he looks at everyone else? She thought to herself. He had been the one to write the letter to her, but that didn't mean he likes me back. She thought laying in bed. Soon her thoughts calmed down and she realized she was over thinking it all. She soon fell fast asleep her mind still filled with those thoughts. Did he fancy her?
