When I reached the mall, parked, got out, and made it to the main entrance, I found Kelly waiting for me. She was sporting a burgundy beanie, black dress, and a pair of black converse. We both walked into the mall I stopped short. I looked into the window of Nordstrom and I felt like my stomach was in my chest. I saw Tiffany Swanson making out with my crush, Addison. He was the most adorable boy I've ever laid eyes on. He was humble, loyal, and very friendly. As soon as Kelly met my eyes she started comforting me. I decided I had to go into Nordstrom because next to the public display of romance, credit to Addison and Tiffany, I saw a really cute leather peplum tank on a mannequin. I bought it and a pair of gold aviators to hide my shame. I slipped them on and started snooping in the shop window. As as soon as Addison looked up I noticed he was wearing the red beanie I stuffed in his locker for his birthday. He probably knew it was from me because I had been staring at him for the entire week. When our eyes met once he realized it was me, he winked at me. "Did Addison just wink at me ?" I can't believe I said that out loud. Once I realized he had heard me he just stared at me as I started to blush. I made a mad dash down the mall corridor. Once I turned around, I saw that he was now outside the store.
"To tell you the truth, he looks a little disappointed."
To my surprise, behind me was Kelly.
"I didn't realize you were following me also!"
After Kelly and I talked for a while, we made stops to Kate Spade, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, and Aeropostale. I now had 6 bags (including the one from Nordstrom) filled with tops, leggings, skirts, dresses, beanies, and 1 red and white chevron iPhone case from Kate Spade as well.
The Kelly said." Well I call that a successful shopping trip. I her hands were 12 shopping bags. By now we also made our way into Bath and Body Works, Icing by Claire's, Sephora, Mac, Brandy Melville, and Urban Outfitters.
It was 7:39 and I still had time before curfew, so I said," Kel, wanna go get pizza ?"
"Sure!"
"What makes you so happy ?"
"Well, you know how I went on a date with Jack last night ? Yeah uhmm, he just texted me asking me if I would want to be his girlfriend !"
"Well do you like him ?"
"YEAH !!!"
"So say yes !"
"I already did !"
"Okay"
"Okay"
"OMG ! We need to stop quoting " The Fault In Our Stars !"
