Your POV

3:23 pm outside the charms classroom

I was sort of lost so when I left the classroom I crouched next the the wall and pulled out the map and continued to follow it until I made it to the ravenclaw Commons. 

After I climbed the many stairs, I have breathing too loud to hear the riddle so I knocked on the door hoping someone would open, and to my surprise, Blair stood at the door with sweats, a sweatshirt, and a messy bun.  "Hey! How are you doing?" I asked her while walking into the common room and throwing my bag down as I sat down on the leather couch in front of the fire.  

"Eh I could be better.  I have been doing homework since 2:30 though." she replied waving her many papers around "Want to do it together?" 

"Sure!"  I responded because I totally needed help and Blair seemed super smart.  ..... Well smarter than me which says a lot (not being cocky)

We worked for about 1/3 of the time and the rest we laughed and talked.  It was really great to have Blair as my friend.  I totally lost track of time the remembered I had to meet Malfoy.   I check my dainty gold watch and it was 3:58. SHIT.

I started throwing my scrolls in my backpack when Blair asked me " What are you doing?" 

"uh I have to meet Malfoy in the library at 4:00 and I'm going to be late." I said while struggling to get my arm through  my canvas bag strap.  " I'm sorry for leaving you it's just I'm kinda nervous."

"Oh My Merlin! Don't be!...I'm happy for you, even though Malfoy is known to be a git he seems nice-ish around you.  Maybe I could come with you and if it goes well then I would just get extra study time and if it doesn't then we could go get butterbeers!" Blair suggested

"Merlin! You're amazing of course I would love that." Merlin Blair is the best

We ran to the library and walked in not to seem suspicious.  I found Draco sitting at a table by himself reading a book.

"Hey" I said cooly.  He just looked up at me and stared from a moment as if he didn't know who I was. "What book are you reading?" i asked trying to defuse the tension.

"uh" he blinked and zoned back in, he shook his head a little as if to get rid of the strange behavior. "I'm sorry about that, I'm uh really tired....oh and I'm reading the Great Gatsby."

this was getting awkward.

"Oh yea classic love it.  So um why did you want to meet me here?" I asked trying not to upset him.

"Well I wanted to apologize.  Everything that happened when I first met you, all terrible and I want to restart so will you let me?"  He asked while messing with the book pages

Who the hell does he think I am? some kind of pushover? hell no.  He literally is bipolar as fuck.  Buuuut he is my partner for DADA.  whatever this is what I need.  To let go of my old ways and start new...."Yea sure but you can't pull bipolar crap all the time, stick to this."  Hermione is gonna hate me.

"really? thank you!" He sprang up and hugged me like no one else has given him a second chance; he shortly let go."er um sorry about that." 

"It's no problem.  Want to go get butterbeers with Blair and I ?"

"Sure!"

"Um no way!" blair snapped "c'mo-" she cut me off laughing "No way I am going to interrupt your cute little date" 

"It's not like that" I stated

"mmhmm suuuurree" she said while turning back to her book.  "Byeeee" I called after walking out with Draco.

We walked side by side almost brushing shoulders but didn't talk much until we got to this bridge thing when I said. "What made you change your mind about this?" I knew I shouldn't have but whatevs.

"uh well" I could tell he was uncomfortable  "Well,um ok so-"  its cute to see him flustered. Wait what am I saying he clearly just wanted to be my friend nothing more. "-...I have made a bad impression and have treated many people badly and I don't want that with you. I want to be different."  he said rubbing his neck and looking at the ground.  

"totally yea I want to do that too." I replied while bouncing up and down to keep warm-ish. "come on I'm freezing my tits off out here." I say while pushing him playfully.

In  The three broomsticks 

A short blonde women that had a mole under her eye served us our butter beers almost instantly.

"So have you figured your way around the castle yet? or am I still your tour guide" he said while smiling.

"You should do that more" I blurted without even realizing it. Shit.

"Do what?" he asked then stopped smiling.

"smile, Draco, it looks good on you" as I said that he looked down and laughed a bit then looked up behind my shoulder and the light in his face immediately dropped.

"What" I said while grabbing his hand.

"Shit" he breathed.

"Draco what?" I questioned while looking behind me to see......
