Chapter 2~ leaving

HEY GUYS! SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED IN A WHILE. IVE BEEN SO BUSY STUDYING FOR EXAMS😩 ANYWAYS, I HOPE YOU LIKE IT! I LOVE YOU ALL!

Everyone looked shocked. Miss tanner continued. "Katie will be leaving is in exactly three days. So say your goodbyes and be prepared. You may all leave now." Everyone ran over to me and suddenly, I was engulfed by a full out group hug. "Katie!" Drew squealed. "Your leaving! Good job!" I almost couldn't stand the thought of leaving him.

After everyone was done hugging me and congratulating me, I headed upstairs to start packing. Not that I had much to pack, but I was exited. I fell asleep at about 11:00 and fell into a deep sleep. I dreamt about a boy. A boy I had never seen before, but holy hotness was he gorgeous. In the dream, I kept running. And tripping. And every time I stood up, the mysterious boy was right there. It was weird but I remember him having beautiful blue eyes. And long, brown hair.

I woke up the next day, and desperately waited for tomorrow. The day I'll meet my future parents. The day went by fast and before I knew it, the lights were shut off, signaling it was Time to go to sleep.

The next morning, I was woken up by Lauren shaking me saying "katie. Wake up. Your soon-to-be parents will be here in 30 minutes miss tanner says." I sit up and rub my eyes and Lauren walks out of the room. I got up to get dressed. I brushed through my hair and quickly ran a straightening iron through it. Then I threw my "sleeping with sirens" sweatshirt on, making sure to cover up my cuts. And then I put skinny jeans on and rolled the cuff up part of my shin to make them into capris. I grabbed my rip off converse shoes and walked downstairs. Just in time. I saw a car pull into the driveway.

A pretty lady stepped out of the driver's seat and a man hopped out of the passenger seat and they made their way up the walkway to the door. Miss tanner opened the door and invite them in. We shook hands and I learned that my soon-to-be mom's name is Karrie and my soon-to-be dad's is Andy. Karrie and Andy suggested we get going to lunch. I walked out the door with them and got into the backseat of the car. "So Katie," Karrie said with a smile on her face. "What do you like to eat?" I smiled politely and said, "anythings fine" it was awkward. We ended up eating at Pizza Hut. They were really nice and we talked about everything. From what school is be going to to what my room looks like.

By the time we were done talking, it was 6:45. Karrie told me we had better get going because she didn't want to be late dropping me off. So me, andy, and karrie walked out to the car. It was going to feel good to have a real family. We pulled up to the foster home. Andy spoke. "It was really a pleasure to meet you, Katie." I smiled and nodded. "Thanks," "you guys too." I stepped of the car. Before I shut the door, I heard karrie shout out, "bye honey! We'll see you tomorrow!" I smiled and waved and walked up to the door.

As soon as I got in the house, I went straight to sleep because I knew tomorrow was going to be great. I woke up really early by the smell of food. 'Weird' I thought. 'No one ever makes breakfast around here.' I Walked downstairs to see Lauren cooking eggs. I was gonna kinda miss it here.

"Hey" I said to Lauren
"Hi." She said. She didn't sound happy so I figured id leave her alone. Without saying a word, she put some eggs on my plate, and I are them all. None of us said a word. I hated this. I hated not talking to my best friend. When I was done, it was about 11. It was weird no one else was up. But I just got up and went to get changed and ready.

I finally decided to just wear my nirvana shirt with a jacket. I threw capris on and my sandals. Next thing I knew, there was a knock on the door. I took a deep breath because I knew id never set foot in this house again.

I walked down the stairs with my suitcase. Karrie and Andy greeted me with smiles. And I said goodbye to everyone, hugging Lauren especially tight. "Goodbye" I whispered an walked out. I got in the back of the car and we were off. New adventures were about to start. As I wondered what my new house was going to look like, I fell asleep. I was waken up by Andy shaking me gently. "Were home" he whispered. I opened my eyes. The house was gorgeous. My mouth dropped in awe.

As I made my way up the porch steps, I lugged my suitcase behind me. Karrie opened the door and I walked inside. It was huge. "Well" Andy said. "What do you think?"

"Words can't explain" i replied. Karrie and Andy looked pleased. "Here. Let me show you to your room" karrie said. I followed her up the steps and walked through a door. My room was amazing. It had a balcony door that looked out onto the pond in the backyard. I was astonished. The walls were a light grey and the carpet was black. "Whoah" I said under my breath. The bed was in the corner and it was huge. I was so exited.

"Well I'll leave you alone to unpack" karrie said turning to leave. "Oh and by the way your new wardrobe is in the closet" I nodded and walked over to a door I was assuming was the closet. I opened it and was completely suprised by all the cute clothes in there.
