"Alyssa go clean the walls and floors where the shelves were. Will go clean the shelves."

Mabel said admiring her power.

Will and Alyssa went back to work, while Mabel walked to the back to check on Ethan. Alyssa mopped the floor, and began to clean the dust off the walls, when eventually she spotted a

doorknob on the floor.

"That's strange I don't remember this when I was mopping." she said curiously.

She began walking toward the other side of the store when she spotted a hole in the wall.

"It's already time to close up!" Will said surprised, as he checked the clock.

This alerted the others to come, except Alyssa. Simultaneously, Alyssa was screwing in the knob

and turning it. "Creak!" went the doors rusty old hinges. Alyssa called the others back to check

out the door.

"Is this the door the paper from the attic was talking about?" "I this what will fix that

Fatal day?" Will thought to himself.

Once Everyone was at the door, they all peered in.

When they looked in cold damp room, they spotted a book on the floor. This was nothing like Will had imagined and began to wonder if the paper he found was malarkey.

"What is this place?" Alyssa asked in awe.

"I don't know," responded Will as he began to pick up the book and flip through the pages. Once the book was opened Will and his friends shot back in time like a gust of wind. Little did they know that an ancient beast was brought back to life to kill the ones who open the book.

"Where are we now?" asked Mabel.

"No, the question is; When are we?" Ethan told Mabel. The group appeared behind a tent and as they looked around, they realized they were at the time when Ponce De Leon founded Florida. They smelled the fresh coast that was much different than how it was later.

"Shh, I hear someone coming." whispered Will.

"Well, look who it is, the commander of the French army." said Ponce from inside the tent. "I want this land of yours here, and if you don't give it to me your whole army dies."

"What do you want with it anyway" the man asked.

"Let's just say I got this tiny bomb that I am going to plant on this land, then I am going to sell it to the Americans and once the clock knows it is the year of 2018 it will explode!"

The man refused, then the conversation ended with a "Slash!" and "Thump!". The group gasped at what they heard about the upcoming doom that was near to come at the end of the year. This startled Ponce and he walked around the tent and spotted the kids.

"Get these kids!" he shouted. "I don't want them spreading any news about our plans!" They ran into the forest of trees being chased by thousands of soldiers.

After a few minutes of running, Alyssa yelled, "Stop, I found another door in this tree!"

They ran over to where Alyssa was. Together they opened the door a jumped in. Then they waited a few seconds for the soldiers run past the tree. Then Will turned around and looked at the book. The title of the dusty book was Will's Big Mistake. Will instantly knew what it meant. Before Will opened the book to fix his problems and become a millionaire when he was stopped. A ghostly figure snatched his friends.

"I am the Bookkeeper, keeper of these precious books!" his voice boomed. "You must make the decision to get your friends back and hand over the book or to keep the book and let your friends die! I will give you two minutes to think about it."

The ghost disappeared and left Will alone to think to himself. ...

Will thought to himself for a few minutes thinking about all the good times he had with his

friends. He knew if he lost his friends, he would not forgive himself and will be feel eternally

depressed. Will knew what he had to do.

"Ghost come back; I have made my decision!" Will shouted.

The ghost appeared at Will's command.

With a scratchy whisper/scream voice he asked, "What is your choice boy, give me the

book or lose your friends forever!"

Will told him he wanted his friends and he handed him the book. The ghost vanished.

Will woke up in his bed, thinking that it was all a dream. Will looked at his hand that was

covered in dust from the book, he instantly knew that that was no dream. Will laid his head

back on his pillow and began to think about what would happen if he kept the book. Indeed, he

would have been a millionaire, but he would also have been the murderer of his friends. He

realized that money really doesn't bring happiness, only the people around you can.

"I made the right choice." Will whispered to himself, getting up for the new day.

"Today will be a great day for greater choices" Will thought.

Truly that day could never been greater.
