"We have to find him!" Wally cried, "We have to find him, and apologize."
"How?" Artemis queried, "There haven't been any sightings of him in months, not in Gotham, not anywhere."
"That's not exactly surprising," Conner remarked, "seens as though Batman did actually ban him from his own home and disowned him."
"I do agree with Wally," Kaldur announced, "We must at least make some effort to find our missing team member."
"When shall we start?" M'gann asked.
"Now."

Over in Jump City, Nightwing and the rest of the Titans were engaged in a fight as usual, this time against Cinderblock.
After the fight had been won, the group headed back to the Tower.
It had been 3 months since Robin had become Nightwing and created the Teen Titans. His past as Robin was not a widely known fact, the Titans being the only ones aware of it. Having told them his reasons for leaving his past behind, he also revealed his identity to them, something he had been unable to do with his previous team thanks to Batman's strict rules. Now, however, with no Batman breathing down his neck, Dick was free to do as he pleased.
He and Starfire, a Tamaranian princess, had become particularly close, and she seemed to have a... thing for him, but Dick wasn't really interested in her that way. He had silently admitted to himself that his heart belonged solely to Barbara Gordon.
He sometimes thought back to his old friends in Young Justice, but changed his mind shortly afterwards. It did no good to dwell on the past.
That is, until his past caught up with him…
