it was sunday, a day before hana sato had to go to her new school. she wasn't exactly scared, but she was kind of nervous.
she's been living in japan for about a week, maybe a little less, and she was still getting used to the time difference.
this is always the worst part, the girl thought to herself as she rubbed her eyes.
her mom was making her go shopping for some groceries, which she really didn't wanna do. "why couldn't she have done this herself?" hana groaned, getting up from the comfort of her bed to turn on the shower.
after her shower she styled her medium length, black hair, into two braids that fell loosely on her shoulder. she put on some baggy boyfriend jeans and a black tank top with a blue flannel over it. it was kind of a lazy outfit, but it wasn't like she was trying to impress anyone.
how is it barely ten in the morning, it feels like i woke up hours ago, she thought as she walked down the stairs.
"mom i'm going to the store i'll be back in like an hour!" hana shouted across the house. "alright be safe." her mom responded, going back to unpacking the boxes that were still left.
"at least i'm not unpacking." she said to yourself quietly as she slipped her earbuds in. i wanna be yours by arctic monkeys started to play and it made her reminisce about her time in england.
her and her best friends, bella and lizzy, would always listen to them when they would sleep over at each other's houses, fan girling all night about alex turner and his looks. they even went to one of their concerts together!
i wonder what they're doing right now, she smiled to herself. bella was probably at soccer practice right now, and lizzy was probably asleep, per usual.
she was snapped out of her thoughts when her phone suddenly dinged. she looked at the notification that was from instagram.
