I walked downstairs to see a brown haired boy cooking

Mae:hey griff
I said smiling a him

Griffin:morning Mae
He said looking over his shoulder at me smiling

I sat down on top of the counter as I talked to kio who had recently came downstairs griffin was still attempting to cook breakfast for us

Kio:so you and Bryce is #bae gonna be a thing
A smile appeared on his face

Mae:Nooo he is my best friend and that's it nothing more What do you think griffin your old and kinda wise
Gesturing to the boy who was still making scrambled eggs

Griffin:I'm going to side with kio on this one sorry Mae and I'm not that old
He said laughing a little
I sighed knowing that they could be right

Now I was still sat on the counter kio sat on the chair next to me griffin in the one opposite us we were just talking whilst eating scrambled eggs i finished my eggs and put my plate away I then jumped back onto the counter as I listened to the boys conversation just then we heard a loud stamp

All three of us scanned the room when we stopped at the stairs as we saw a group of boys all run down

Bryce:HA I BEAT YOUR ASS'S
He said yelling up at the boys

Josh:"ha I beat your ass's"
Josh mimicked Bryce as he walked into the kitchen jaden and josh falling behind him slowly

Bryce came in first giving the boys all bro hugs
("BrO hUgS" is that even a thing! Anyways back to the story)

He came towards me and smiled I just smiled back after this morning I had been trying to figure out if me and Bryce had a moment
Jaden and josh came in doing the same thing expect both giving me fist bumps
as I pushed myself of the counter so I was now on a chair opposite Bryce I was still sat next to kio he would occasionally nudge me to show Bryce was softly smiling at me

Bryce's Pov
I walked back downstairs after the guys had talked to me about me and Mae's "relationship status" Im not really good at this type of thing but I felt a certain way with Mae she made me nervous sometimes and when I was around her it's hard not To smile that's sounds cheesy but it's true but me and Mae are just best friends nothing more

I sat down next to griffin so I was opposite Mae and kio her and kio were laughing about something and I couldn't help but smile at her the one thing she could do was make me smile and she was pretty good at it but after this morning it was like I couldn't help but think about her did we have a moment or was it just a best friends thing

Do bestfriends do that ?

What would've happened if Jaden and josh didn't walk in ?

All these question just kept spinning in my head I didn't even realise I had zoned out

Mae:earth to Bryce
I stooped my track of thought and came back to reality as I saw the sliver haired girl standing in front of me giggling

Bryce:shit sorry
I said laughing a little too

Mae:well there in kio's room
I smiled at him as I turned around

Bryce:and
He wasn't moving so I decided I would say something

Mae:they probably talk shit about you
I said whist giggling I knew they weren't but the boys being problematic in all it worked

Soon Bryce was out of sight and running into kio's room
I decided to leave since I wanted to get coffee i went up to Bryce's room and took some of his joggers and then yelled goodbye to the boys and left

I was now at home laying on the couch still in the same shirt and joggers that were Bryce's I knew he wouldn't mind so I just kept them on and watched some Netflix
When I got a notification
