Lazy Savior {Suna Rintaro}

XVI

After our conversation, we decided to go back home. When I arrived at my place I sigh with relief, don't know how but everything ended really well. I looked at the window, enjoying the rainy night outside.

Suddenly I heard a knock on my door, "Who could be at this hour?"

When I opened the door, there was a familiar lazy boy outside completely wet

"Rin, omg, what happened? You can come in, hurry" and he entered in my house

"Now tell me, why you're here?"

"Are we okay?" he asked out of nowhere

"You decided to come back and get wet just to ask me that?" I laughed "Of course we're okay dumbass"

"It was easier to turn around and come back here instead of going home and get a umbrella"

"Because of your laziness you can get a cold, let's go to my room, you can change your clothes and dry your hair at least" he was about to deny "I don't accept no as response c'mon I can dry your hair for you"

I got his wet clothes e put on the clothes dryer

"You don't have to do all of this" he hissed

"No problem, now lay on the bathtub you're too tall for me to dry your hair while you're stand up, but before everything, take you hoodie, it's over my bed" the boy left the bathroom and in a couple of seconds he was back

"It smells like you now" then he laid in the bathtub

"And what's the smell"? I asked

"I don't know, something citrus like oranges and lemons, I liked it" his voice was low, showing how tired he was

"Hey, don't fall asleep while I touch your hair"

"Then talk to me while you do this, tell me more about your life" He yawned

"Fine, what do you want to now?"

"Which number was yours?"

"10, like you" I caressed his head 'cause of my answer

"Really?" his eyes sparkled and I nodded "And why you're called Sun?"

"That's a good one. Everybody thinks I'm called like this because of how I play volleyball, unstoppable and impetuous, but It's my nickname since I met Manami. She had a lot of reasons to call me that and none of them were bad."

"Which reasons?" even if he as tired I call feel he was paying attention

"Well, first one: 'cause my hair 'looks like it is burning' you have to excuse her, she was little, second: when I get angry my skin gets really red, third: when I'm happy I'm warm like a Sunday morning, fourth: when I'm sad looks like it's a rainy day, fifth: I used to play volleyball without tie my hair so when I jump she said it took the sun's form, the last one is because the Sun is the one who brings light to everybody like me"

"They're good reasons I agree with her"

I giggled "You're agreeing with an 12-year child" he hissed an "still" then I said "next question, we're almost done"

"Fine, have you ever had a boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? No. Fun fact about our team: we're not allowed to date, anyone. But that's was not really a problem, we would disobey anyway, we were too focused on volleyball. Most part of us don't even had a lot of friends"

"That sucks" Suna said

"Fine, we're done here now you can go back home" I could hear him grumbling

"No grumbles, you have to go and don't forget your homework, if you go as a good boy I know you're next time you can stay" he agreed and left, "Rin was really worried about me, I thought he was angry" I thought, fuck, I forgot to apologize, I ran to the entrance of my house and screamed to him

"Rinrin I'm sorry for screaming with you before, I didn't want to" he turned around to look at me

"No worries, I can be angry with you for too long anyway, bye Bunny" he smiled, his voice was lower than mine but I could hear everything.

*Next day*

The rumors about me ended and I and my team were on good terms again. But our training was more... agitated.

"Hai boys, I have something to tell you before we start" all of them looked at me "I talked with our coach and we agreed that if you guys want, I can join you in our pratic-"

"YES YES YES AND YES" Atsumu screamed "I WANT YOU IN MY TEAM"

"So as everybody else" Kita scolded him "calm down". We agreed to draw two teams with 3 players each.

"Before we choose our teams if have to warn you that my personality change a lot while I'm playing"

After choosing everyone it was: me, Kita, and Aran against Atsumu, Rintaro, and Osamu. That's going to be interesting.

"Kari I'll try to slow down it's been a long time you don't play, you know" Atsumu had a smirk on his face

"No need to worry pisshead, I don't need too much smash you" I answered him with another smirk, he was perplexed while Samu and Suna were laughing of him " I don't know why you too are laughing, you'll lose too" and then immediately they stopped

Of course, Atsumu would serve first. Told Kita that I would take care of their backs while they're next to the net.

3rd person P.O.V

Atsumu smashed the ball, Hikari was too far away from that, there was no way she could get the ball, but suddenly she did a backflip and bang! the ball was flying back to Kita's direction, he lifted the ball and Aran spiked it. (A/n: let me explain something here, the character only did this here cause it's a game with fewer players, and it isn't an official game, it doesn't really happen normally, just for fun ;D)

"WHAT THE FUCKING HELL" the blond boy screamed

It was time for Aran's serves now, but Osamu caught but the ball was going in Suna's direction so he had to lift up the ball for Atsumu to spike, Kita blocked it but the ball touched his hand "One touch!" the ball was flying too high the only option was: Hikari has to spike, but when she jumped instead of spiking it, Kyo decided to set for Aran "OJIRO!" and without hesitating he hit the boy with the zero tempo.

30 minutes later we won with 14-25

Hikari's P.O.V

"UHULLL" Aran celebrated and went towards me with his hands up

"What? are you going to snap me? I did something wrong? I'm sorry"

He was confused "No Hikari it was supposed for we do a high-five"

I was flustered but did anyway "But what for?"

"Celebrate our victory. What your team does after a match?"

"We... go home? It's not what we supposed to do?" I asked doubtfully

All the boys looked perplexed at me

"Just go home? Okay Hikari, raise your hand" Akagi said and I did "Now smile" right "Then say 'YEEEEY'"

"Yeeeey"

"Fine, now do this every time we win, all the victories are important, be happy when you win you don't need to hide your feelings now"

"I'm sorry, our coach always said that showing happiness our crying just make us weak, I thought it was right" I could feel my cheeks getting hotter

"Hikari, from now you're going to learn how it feels to be in a team with real team spirit, don't be ashamed of learning, you're safe with us" Omimi said to me

I nodded cheerfully "See Atsumu I win, you suck" then I showed my tongue playfully

"Come here little mouse I'm going to kill you" then I ran from him

"She learns fast" Osamu laughed
