Alfred F. Jones was looking through case files when a woman crashed into his office near frantic yelling “Mr. Jones, please help me, my son, he’s gone missing!” Alfred recognised this voice immediately to be his friend’s mother, she looked like she hasn’t slept in days. Her eyes held bags as big as his thumbs, her hair unkempt and, she looked as if she had been starving.

“He calls me every week or so, when I didn’t get a call I went to check on him, when he wasn’t home i checked every other day for about a week, he hasn’t been home at all!”

Alfred’s face got more serious as he looked at her, “Toris? Toris has gone missing?” he stared at her unbelievingly. She dropped to her knees and begged Alfred to take the case. to find her son, Just as security busted in. Before they could drag her away he shouted that he would take up the case. Alfred felt tears building up, he would find his friend.

“Last seen two weeks ago, and only by one person, Alfred, this one’s going to be near impossible, there’s almost nothing to go on” said Arthur. Alfred held his head in his hands, he knew. And there was no way he would be able to get anything out of the last person to see him. As the person in question just happened to be Natalia Braginsky. the younger sister of Ivan Braginsky, His number one enemy since high school. Natalia adored her Brother to the point of being possessive. He could never piece together why, but it was creepy how she always watched him, wouldn’t let anyone talk to him, and she wanted his attention all the time. It was even harder to be his enemy, because she would give him threatening glares anytime they passed. Maybe she was attention starved. But as crazy as she was, she was beautiful. He had even tried to seduce her once, but that ended with a big red hand print on his face.

There was no way he could confront her, even if it was about a matter this serious…not alone at least.

“Al, why do you need to hold my hand while you talk to a girl, what are you 10?”

“Shut up Gilbert, you don’t even know why we need to talk to her”

“exactly” exclaimed Gilbert as Alfred dragged him to the Braginsky manor. He made sure Gilbert had no idea as to who they were about to talk to, because he knew that Gilbert would rather jump out of this moving vehicle before he’d talk to Natalia.

as they walked slowly to the door, Gilbert wouldn’t shut up about how fancy the place was. as soon as they knocked a woman answered the door, a maid. Alfred pulled out his badge and asked for Natalia. The woman looked shocked and bowed before running off down the hall.

“fine service huh” added Gilbert slyly, but his smug face was wiped off as soon as Natalia walked to the door and invited them in. Gilbert, with wide eyes turned to Alfred with a silent plea to leave, but Al just offered a charming smile and walked in.

“So, Jones, what have I done to have the honour of welcoming you into my home.” She asked dryly

“well Natalia, I came to ask a few questions about a certain Toris Laurinaitis”. Natalia looked grim “what do you want to know?” Alfred was surprised that a stone cold girl like Natalia could be worried about someone other than her brother.

“I need to know where he was last seen. if you can remember it, I would need the address. and if you saw anyone with him could you please tell me” Alfred asked desperately.

“hmm, the last place I saw him was at the old high school, he was with one other person, he was wearing a green sweat shirt and the mystery man was wearing a crimson hoodie with his hood up so I couldn’t tell.”
