W—hen Bokuto returned, the room's atmosphere shifted. He looked even more energized, and his hair was slightly mussed from whatever game he had been playing. His grin was wide as he walked back into the section. His golden eyes immediately searched for [Y/n], and when he found her, sitting comfortably with Konoha, Akaashi, and the others, his smile softened.
"Miss me?" he asked, his voice carrying a playful tone as he plopped down beside her again, closer this time. His leg brushed against hers, whether by accident or not, and [Y/n] could feel the heat from his body despite the slight space between them.
Konoha rolled his eyes with a laugh. "That was fast. Thought you'd be gone for at least an hour, Bokuto."
Bokuto grinned, leaning back into the couch. "Game was fun, but I said I'd come back soon. I keep my promises."
