The girl looked like she was around 20. And she didn't look nervous at all when I gave her the look that usually left most men fumbling over their words. It was interesting that I've never seen her around town before, but it wasn't surprising since the only other women around here were either already married up or chose to fuck instead of settle down.
"Are you leaving or just enjoying the show?" The words spilled out of her plump lips as she inhaled the smoke down into her lungs and blew the cloudy toxins into the air. She was a beauty in herself. Tan skin that told anyone, she loved being outside and didn't mind the blistering heat that seemed to sweep in around this time of year. The black hair that blended in with, her just as equally stunning short dress, that seemed to have every pocket in the world to stuff the things she needed inside.
But if you looked close enough you could see that her eyes told a whole different story that most wouldn't have noticed. The barely there thin thread that was holding her whole being together. And I hoped that the person on the other end of that wrath when that string did finally give, knew that she would bring them down including herself.
I gave her my panty dropping smile as I said, "Enjoying the show."
She held my stare but didn't return the smile as she finally turned towards the red headed girl that had slipped out another knife that was hidden in the opposite side of her leggings. Dropping the gun that had seemed unbalanced in her hand to begin with.
"Guess who else is going to be six feet fucking under?" The red head mocked the women as she angled the handle of her knife horizontally as if getting ready to strike.
The black headed woman gave the red head her best smirk as she drawled, "Let me guess?" The woman took out her gun and pointed it at the red head, her hand never shaking once under the weight. Telling me that this wasn't her first time killing or holding this weapon, and it wouldn't be her last. I adjusted my jeans as I felt my dick get hard, damn I didn't even know this girl but my dick wanted to meet her.
"It's me isn't?" Her harsh words snapped me out of my daze. Damn, what I really wanted was some snacks to watch this movie draw out. The red head laughed and it sounded like a bird getting choked to death. I instantly cringed.
"How smart. Did your brothers death help you find some brain cells you were missing?" The red head smirked at the woman. I watched as the woman's hand started to strangle the handle of the gun as she tried to hold back the anger that rippled off from her in waves, that could drown any person within 5 feet of her.
A line. There was a line and the red head had just crossed it. Cue the suspenseful music.
The bodyguard that had walked into the shop with the woman looked just as angry as he heard the words that came from the red head. "Oh you're dead now." He whispered as he smiled menacingly at the red head.
The woman slowly dragged her cigarette down towards the table and smashed the burning stub onto the glossy surface, getting rid of the source of tobacco in the air. She stood up and there was a limp in her walk as she prowled to the little girl. A lioness confronting her prey.
"You know, I was going to give you a quick death but it seems you're just as stupid as your father was." The woman circled the girl slowly as the girl followed her every move, not once taking her eyes off the woman. "How does it feel to have a father who was so blindingly obedient to whoever your master is, that he didn't once think of the life he would be leaving behind as he rammed his car into mine? Completely fine with ending his own life and leaving you to grieve alone?" The girl had tears in her eyes as she swiped them furiously away with the back of her hand. The woman never once stopped her circling or grimaced at the painful pressure she was surely giving her broken ankle.
"He did love me." The girl whispered, but even her voice betrayed the lies she told herself as it wavered ever so slightly.
"I almost feel bad for you." The woman gave her a pouting look as the girls anger took over her whole body and she moved to slash her knife through the air. The bottom of the woman's gun rammed into the girls temple before she could do any further damage. "Almost." She whispered.
"Get her into the back of the car and make sure you tie her hands and ankles, I know a kicker when I see one." She said with no emotion as she commanded her bodyguard and didn't look back to see if he followed them as she headed into the back of the bakery. Stealing are we?
I trailed after her as I watched as she immediately entranced everyone, that decided to stay, with her strong aura. "I need the list finished today." She looked at the older lady that was earlier smiling at the front counter, and now you could see her trembling hands and the uncertainty written on her face.
"The dangers gone. And I need the things on the list in my hands before I leave." She raised her voice slightly trying to get her point across. I marveled at the way she made everyone start moving. They immediately got up from the floor and started to finish whatever she needed on that list.
"Why are you still here?" Her brown eyes flicked to his blue ones as her brows lightly crinkled together in confusion. "What? Are you an adrenaline junky or something?" I smirked slightly as she looked me up and down.
I leaned down so my face was inches from those mesmerizing lips. "I am getting a rush, but not where you would think." She gave me a disgusted look which made me chuckle.
"Do I need to bring you home so my father can scare you into not spilling what you saw today?" She gave me a bored look as I thought over her words. Man if only she knew what I've witnessed before, or what I've done with my own two hands.
"Are you asking me if I want to go home with you?" I flipped the question onto her as I dragged my gaze from her mouth all the way to her shoes and back up. Her fiery gaze was the only thing she gave me in return.
"No asshole." She gritted through her teeth as I noticed she started shaking with anger. Feisty. I like that.
"What's your name beautiful?" I asked her as I stared into those chocolate brown eyes. She gave me a smirk but then she just turned towards the lady that was handing over tons of boxes with what I imagined to be every kind of sweet you could find in this bakery.
"Thanks. Cam will transfer you the money." She smiled kindly at the older lady, giving the lady's shaking hands a little pat before turning to leave. The only sign of compassion that showed she still had a heart.
I swiftly grabbed the heavy boxes form the limping woman before she could protest. "I-" She started.
"Don't even try." I responded sternly as I held open the door for her, and she slowly proceeded to her car.
"Little bitch." I heard her mutter under her breath which only made me chuckle at her realness. Never once faking if she liked you or not.
Grabbing her crutches she threw them into the trunk of the black sedan as she went to take the boxes from my hands. I saw, Cam, the bodyguard go to reach for his gun at his waist from the drivers seat. I gave him a smile that was anything but reassuring as I whispered to her,
"Enjoy your dessert." Giving her one last smirk I turned and left.
"Asshole." Is the only thing she said to me as she climbed into the sedan and it sped off into the distance.
Asshole. I quietly laughed to myself. She didn't realize how many times I've been called that.
