It was a crowded street, much too crowded for this time of day. A young disheveled haired man dragged his short-legged little one behind him down the street. Her black braided pigtail's bouncing in the wind as she did all she could to keep up."Daddy, slow down!" She pleaded as her little legs could not keep up with his long strides. But unbeknownst to her, she did not have her father's full attention like always. For his eyes wandered to search the ever-growing crowd of people for the man that he thought he had seen.
The same man who he knew had betrayed his very best friend. "Peter "the man cried out into the village street way. " Peter! " He screamed this time calling himself to everyone's attention. Off to the corner of his eye, he saw his once trusted friend. Peter turned to face Black stuttering. " S-Si- Sirius, Sirius my - my- friend!" He rambled on " What have you done!" As he clung to his brown overcoat pocket.
" First Lily and James.... now you come for me." He exhaled still fidgeting with his pockets. Lily that name sounded familiar to the small girl. She scrunched her eyebrows together trying to think about why that name seemed so important. " Lily and James trusted you with their lives, with Harry's safety." Screamed an angry Sirius. A foreboding low growl leaving his lips.
"Aunt Lily " the little girl whispered to herself in the realization that is who this man and her dad were talking about.
At that very same moment, the building to the left of Peter started to shake, it started to crumble as a loud booming sound exploded behind him. Multiple bangs continued to ring out. Causing the crowd of people to flee. Some being trampled others, unfortunately, standing too close to the building itself.
Dust from the rubble coated the air as if it was a thick morning fog. The little girl covered her ears to shroud them from the loud sounds of falling bricks and screams of the people trapped underneath them. Although she wished she had closed her eyes instead. Her father scooped her up into his broad arms to protect her, but he hadn't been quick enough. The amount of blood that coated the ground was thick and spreading across the cobblestoned road.
They lay there in the street for how long no one knows waiting for the dust to settle. Her father slowly stood up unwrapping his arms from his little girl. Giving her a once over to see if she was okay. Sirius turned towards the horrific scene only to find a street strung with the bodies of muggles. Never to find Peter, he chuckled inwardly. "You coward! " Sirius screamed into the sky. " You dirty little rat." He began to laugh as the mild hysteria set in. In grief, in suffering, in anger, he continued his mad cackle. As he began to lose his mind.

Another sleepless night, another recollection of her past the girl groaned as she sat up trying to forget the day that the Ministry took her father away. Whipping the sweat off her forehead she noticed the weight of the bed dipped as her uncle Remus sat down in front of her. He must have heard her stirring in her sleep again. She did not like making him worry about her this close to the moon's next cycle. It was not healthy for him being a werewolf was enough of a strain on his body. Her mind just would not allow her to rest. She internally wondered if she should Owl Professor Trelawney about the reoccurring dreams. Mabey they were happening for some reason as a warning premonition.
"Another nightmare Elaina?" He questioned as he handed her a spot of tea to calm her nerves. " Thank you" she answered outstretching her hand for the cup. Glancing at the clock next to her bed reading three a.m. as she sipped on the hot liquid. Remus pulled her close into his arm for a reassuring hug. " I just have a really bad feeling that something's just not right Remus," she said softly
