Many people would say being raised by a werewolf would not be a good idea. How could you even live, how could you not be terrified? Elaina wouldn't care to have it any other way.

Remus was a kind good-hearted man and had always cared dearly for the young girl. She smiled looking down on him as she descended the staircase that leads from her room out into the main area of the house. His eyebrows wrinkled themselves tightly together as he intently read the Daily Prophet while sipping on his morning tea.

Elaina slowly walked into the kitchen leaning over the table to kiss Remus on the side of his face. " Have you taken your potion this morning? " She questioned looking down upon the man.

"No, No dear I haven't " he hurriedly breathed out as he folded the Daily Prophet to the next page and put it down.

That's strange Elaina thought as she cocked her head to the side looking at him furrowing her eyebrows. Usually, he was on top of these kinds of things. She shrugged it off trying not to concentrate on it too much. Mabey Remus was just still worried about her after finding her hyperventilating last night in her bedroom.

She needed to stop assuming bad things were going on, even though she was always right about when she did. Just the mere thought of her reoccurring dreams sent shivers down her spine.

Elaina walked over to the counter and put her cauldron on to start on Remus's wolfsbane potion. As much as Snape would hate to say it the young Gryffindor was his most accomplished student in her year. It left a bad taste in his mouth how well she was at making potions.

Once she added all of the ingredients she mixed them till they were properly incorporated and gave off a purple hue in the cauldron. Before bottling it and leaving just enough out for Remus to take this morning.

Hearing the fast flutter of wings Elaina and Remus both turned their attention to the open window above the sink. Their eye's landing upon Cyrus Elaina's golden-colored barn owl. He shot through the window with such a force he nearly knocked over his perch as he went in for a landing. Both she and Remus stifled a laugh at the peculiar bird. At least he wasn't as bad as Fred and George's bird Errol the bloody thing couldn't make it but so far without crashing into something.

Cyrus wooed and stretched out his leg picking at the attached letter. Hastily Remus shuffled over to the creature and untied the attached parchment. He sighed as soon as his eyes glanced down upon the scroll.

"What's wrong ?" Elina questioned concerningly in a higher-pitched voice. The weeks of nightmares and Remus's strange morning actions getting pushed back into the forefront of her mind.

The kitchen grew ever more quiet as he decided not to speak a word. Not even wanting to look the girl in the face to answer her question himself. Choosing only to turn his large figure back towards the small round table that he once was sitting at.

He grabbed his newspaper folding it back over to the front headline and passed it back to her along with the letter. He sat grabbing his forehead and breathed out.

Have You Seen This Wizard??

Elaina's breath hitched in her throat as she read the headline. Staring down at the moving picture to see the gaunt face of one Sirius Black screaming back at her. Her face went white and so did her hair and eyes with fear. Her hands began shaking but she continued to read the letter from the Ministry.

Miss Elaina Black,

The Ministry of Magic is displeased to inform you of the escape of once such prisoner Sirius Black. Black escaped Azkaban prison by nightfall yesterday with 11'oclock being approximately the last recorded sighting of him in his cell. All leading information concerning your father's whereabouts are expected to be reported to the Ministry of Magic with thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Cornelius Fudge

Minister of Magic

Elaina's heart sank as she tried to open her mouth to speak only capable of letting out muffled sobs as she buried her face in her hands. She slid down beside the counter coming to sit on the floor. Once again her hair color began to change to a vibrant shade of blue this time from grief.

Remus quietly walked over and sat down next to his goddaughter pulling her into a hug. " I'm so sorry dear" He whispered as he stroked her hair as her head lay on his shoulder. She continued to sob into his chest. " I didn't know how to tell you once I saw the paper myself" he muttered out.
