"Aoi Hyodo...Aoi Hyodo..." You chanted in thought as you roamed the school halls looking for a certain purple haired boy. The halls were empty as school is finished and almost all of the students have left the school.
"He should still be in the school somewhere..." You thought. After minutes of searching and the boy was still nowhere to be seen, you sighed. "Guess I'll just look for him tomorro-" Before you could finish your sentence, you bumped into someone. Or rather, they bumped into you.
"Ah- I'm sorry!" You looked up and saw an injured purple haired boy. Your eyes widened. "Hey, are you okay?" You asked."I'm perfectly fine." He answered. You frowned, knowing that he clearly isn't okay.
"No, you're not. You're injured." You grabbed his hand and sprinted your way towards the infirmary. "Hey, let go of me! I'm fine, I don't need to go to the infirmary!" The boy tried to squirm his way out of your grip but unfortunately for him, you had a strong hand. You ignored him and continued making your way to the infirmary to get him treated.
Once you arrived at the infirmary, you opened the door and saw that the nurse wasn't there. "Huh...she must've gone home already..." You said with a hint of disappointment.
"Can I go now?" The boy whined. "As if I'm going to let you leave injured." You dragged him inside the infirmary and sat him down. "Stay here." You said before looking around the room for the medication.
The boy sat still while rubbing his slightly red wrist. "She sure had a strong grip." He winced as he continued rubbing his hand. "Why is she even helping me? I'm just a random student..." He thought.
"Ah, found it." You took the medication and walked back to the boy before taking a seat across from him. You prepared the medication and the boy looked at you with unsure eyes.
"I-i can do it myself..." He said. You raised an eyebrow at his words. "There aren't any mirrors here, so you won't know the exact place of your injury. Are you sure you can apply this by yourself? And even if I did tell you where you're injured, you won't be able to apply the medicine without missing a spot." You explained.
He stayed silent and you smiled. "Just as I thought. Now hold still." He lightly blushed and averted his eyes in embarrassment as you applied the medicine on his injured face.
"How did you get hurt anyway? If you don't mind me asking." The boy flinched at your question and sweat dropped. "I-i was running and fell..." He answered, clearly nervous. You hummed in response knowing that's not what really happened.
The boy averted his eyes back to you, examining your face before furrowing his eyebrows. "She looks familiar...but with who?" He thought.
A smiled was formed on your face as you've finished applying the medication. "All done!" You said cheered. "T-thanks, I guess... although I could've done it myself." He crossed his arm. You rolled your eyes.
"By the way, what's your name?" You asked. The boy hesitated. "...Aoi Hyodo." He answered. Your eyes widened. "Thank goodness you haven't left the school...I've been looking for you." You let out a breath of relief.
He raised an eyebrow. "The teacher asked me to give you this." You handed him the paper bag that the teacher gave you.
*Flashback*
At 2:50 PM
Class has ended and you were packing your things and getting ready to leave the school when your teacher came up to you.
