'August get my ice cream' I screamed from the living room

'Passion, your not handicap, just pregnant' he said making Kaloni & Kaden laugh

'Whatever nigga' I said folding my arms over my chest. Moments later he came out the kitchen with my ice cream

'Here baby' he said to me

'I don't want it' I said making it fall out his hand on to the floor

'You big baby' he said picking it up😂😂

'I know I'm big August' I said getting up wobbling up the stairs. I sat on the bed and cried. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs

'Baby I didn't mean that, your beautiful' he said smiling

'I'm sorry' I said into his chest

'It's alright baby girl' he said grabbing my hand going back down the stairs

'Sis you ok' Kaden asked

'Yes she's fine, just mood swings' Kaloni said thumping him upside the head

'Damn Kal that shit hurt' he said rubbing his head. She laughed

'Watch your mouth Kaden' I said eyeing him

he laughed 'alright grumpy'

'I'm pregnant, not deaf" I said rolling my eyes at them them

"Boys just don't understand sis" Kaloni said.

"So, my birthday is coming up" she said scooting beside me.

"I know it is, what do you wanna do? Anything for you princess" I said turning all my attention to her"

"I want a big party, I'm turning 14" she said with a big smile on her face

"Indeed you are, you just tell me what you want and you can have it" I told her punching her cheeks

"Ok, I'm turning 14 not 4" she said slapping my hand away. I laughed

" You kids really have some smart ass mouths." I said eating a spoonful of my ice cream.

At this point I was really pregnant. I only have a two more weeks until the baby comes.

"Nah sis, it's just you don't have a smart enough mouth." I eyed him.

"Come here so I can cut your ass and show you just how smart my mouth is." I told him making him laugh.

"Anyway." Kali said getting everyone's attention. "Can we talk about my party?" She asked.

I nodded. "Go ahead." I put my ice cream on the coffee table giving her my full attention.

"I want it to be a pool party here in the back yard and I want to invite my friends from school and have a great time." I smiled.

"That sounds simple." I said to her. "Have you thought about what your brother wants?" I asked her reminding her that they do share a birthday.

She sighed. "No." She said looking over at him.

"Whatever she wants is fine." He said shrugging his shoulders.

I pinched his cheeks. "Your so sweet." He looked at me.

"Stop with all that sweet shit." He said pushing my hand away.

I laughed. "August come get this ice cream." I said yelling towards the kitchen.

"Passion, get off your ass and bring it yourself." He yelled back.

I rolled my eyes and got up from the couch. I wobbled to the kitchen. He smiled at me as I walked deeper into the kitchen.

"Why are you smiling at me like that?" I asked smiling back.

"Your so pretty pregnant."

I smiled. "Thanks baby." I said about to walk back out to the living room. "By the way, I'm going back to work tomorrow." I told him.

He looked up from the computer. "I thought the doctor told you not to be on your feet too much around this time." I waved him off.

"I won't be on my feet, I'll just be in the office taking care of the backstage business. You know?"

He pulled at his goatee. "I don't know about all that. I really prefer you not go back until the baby is 2 months old." I looked at like he was nuts.

"You want me to leave my shop to be run by Styles and Jay for two whole months?"

He nodded his head "Yea, that's exactly what I'm saying."

I scoffed. "You really must be smoking dick. I don't wanna sit in the house all day. I wanna work until I can't." I said putting my hands on my hips.

"I really don't wanna argue with you about this." He told me. "Can you just wait until you go back to the doctor on Tuesday and we can make sure it is alright?"

I rolled my eyes. "Ugh, if you say so." I said turning on the balls of my feet to go back into the living room.

"Do you two have any homework?" I asked Kalani and Kaden.

They both looked between eachother. "You need to go upstairs and get it done before watching television and being on your phone." I said taking their phones from them.

"Sis really?" Kaden asked.

"Yes really. When you finish your work, you'll get them back. Now go on upstairs." I commanded them.

Kaden sighed getting up and Kalani trailed right behind him. After a few minutes, they disappeared up the stairs.

"Damn ma." August said coming into the living room.

I chuckled. "What?"

"The mom in you is already starting to show." He said

"I know, it kinda scared me. I don't think I've ever been that hard on them before." I told him feeling kinda bad.

"You weren't being hard on them. You were telling them the right thing to do." He said assuring me I was doing a good job.

"I took their phones though." I said holding up both cell phones.

He laughed. "Okay, and they will get them back as soon as the work is done. It's a fair trade." He said sitting on the couch with me.

He put my legs in his lap and started massaging my swollen feet.

"That feels so good." I said smiling at him.

"They are so swollen, I could tell they needed a little massage." He said smiling back at me.

"Thank you August."

"For what?" He asked looking at me.

"For being here for me and always taking care of me. I really appreciate it and you." I said to him.

"What you expect? Your my girl. That's what I'm supposed to do." I smiled knowing he was right.

He continued to rub my feet as we watched The Fresh Prince on the television.
