Amethyst POV (the day she met Storm)

I woke up with my alarm blaring, I quickly shut it of knowing if I didn't, father would give a hard morning beating.

Once I got up I went to get changed into some light blue skinny jeans, a grey baggy guy shirt(tied), a 'AHS 💀' hoody, and combat boots. I did my normal morning routine- 6:45-

I quickly but quietly went down stairs to make breakfast for father and I.

Last night my father allow me to eat breakfast but little to 'gain strength after and before punishments' as he said

After finishing the eggs and bacon breakfast I made for him, I made made myself a bowl of cereal. I finished it quickly and washed the dishes.

He came down, ate his food, and gave me his plate without a single word, once I finished- 7:00- I went to grab my things, only to be pulled by my hair to the floor.

"You think you can pass this beating today I don't think so bitch" he said while grabbing a fistful of hair, punching my face couple of times.

I groaned, yelped in pain, he kicked my already bruised ribs making them hurt more, one more punch to the face, already tasting blood in my mouth.

Dammit he reopened my busted lips
Shit.

"Now get to school whore" he yelled walking up the stairs

I got up groaning in pain, getting my stuff, already knowing the bruises are starting to form and started walking to school

Once I got to school, I held my face facing the ground not wanting anyone to see my face, walking to my locker

Not really noticing my surroundings, I bumped into pretty two girls.one blonde the other brunette, I was gonna get up but the two girls had other plans

"Omg are you okay I'm so sorry, let me help you up, I haven't seen you around, are you the new girl everyone has been talking about yesterday?!" The blonde said helping me up

"It's okay, it's my fault I ran into you and yeah I guess I'm Amethyst" I said smiling shyly to them

"That's a pretty name I'm River and this is Alexis, so how's the school experience for YA" said the brunette, River

"Thank you, it's alright, haven't made any friends yet, but great, well I gotta go i need to go to my locker" I said walking away from them and heading to my locker.

Someone pulls onto my arm making me flinch as a reflex, as the person seemed to notice they let go, I faced them, it was Alexis, I wonder why?

"Hey you can be our friend, we some others you can meet they're pretty cool, are okay I just noticed your face is filled with bruises, what happened" Alexis said softly

I stiffened and come up with a lie saying I fell down the stairs and they believed me. I took up on their offer and we instantly became friends we had a lot in common. once the the bell rang we all headed to class

Once I made to English, I immediately went to my seat with my head down not wanting the bruising to show. As class started we all started working on this book report project.

Later on that period the door was swung open, but I didn't bother looking up knowing it's probably someone late.

I was done with my report and was working on the song for Mrs. Songs class.
I heard my name being called, I shot my head up "Huh" I look up to see a Greek god boy staring at me. I locked my blue eyes with his grey ones, it was like we were the only two in this world.

I heard someone clear their throat, I look to the side, a pretty but caked on red head(Lacey) glaring daggers at me.
I looked away and focus back onto my paper but I could get that Greek god out my head, his high cheek bones, his 'I woke up like this' bed hair, his plump pink lips, and those beautiful grey eyes.
Dammit I don't even know him and I'm smiling like a damn idiot here

"Okay since class is bout to end in ... 15 minutes, I'll give you guys free time" Mrs. Bokma said interrupting my thoughts, I continued to do my lyric paper

"Hi I'm Storm" I jumped in my seat, already knowing it was the Sexy Greek god, he seemed nervous.
Wow him nervous it should be me
I snorted internally, finally gathering the courage to say something

"Hello I'm Amethyst" I whispered softly, enough for him to hear
Stupid Stupid Stupid, yup I'm an embarrassment

I looked up at him, him already staring, we locked eyes, he examining my features

His eyes swirling with many emotions, it's hard to say, after a while his eyes shown- anger and sadness- I had the urge to just to want to calm him down but i held them back

"Sorry to be rude, but what happened to your face" he blurted out, I was shocked at first but shook my head.
I told him the same the thing I told River and Alexis

He didn't seem to buy it but didn't suppress the matter, noticing my uncomfortableness

After we talked, we had all our classes together, the bell rang, we got up and headed to our classes together

It was weird at first, but I felt comfortable with him. We had some drama today, here and there but today was honestly amazing

River and Alexis are friends with him and some other boys with is pretty cool, I kinda now have my first group of friends

At the end of the Storm dropped me off at home, knowing father won't be home cause he'll be drinking with his 'new friends' I grinned like an idiot all night, thinking of Storm😍

I couldn't keep him out of my mind, before I got into bed one thing came to mind while drifting off

Those Grey eyes

Drifting away into the darkness
