Life is short
Kind of like a drink
You can swallow it down
Or throw it up in the sink
It could be sweet
And it can be bitter
It could be in a shot glass
Or a whole litter
You could order the same thing you always do
Or... you could mix things up and try something new
At the end of the day it's up to you
Whether or not you liked what the brewer brewed
Life is short
So I'll let you think
Can you choose the drink
That you would want to drink?
If it's your first time
You can't really choose
'Cause you don't know anything about anything!
It's a win or lose
It's good to prepare the drink you'd want to drink
If you're not careful, it might stink
Some drinks could be blue or pink
Maybe even purple if that's your thing
Life is like what you're reading now
Messy, short and maybe unclear
But I'll give you some advice
Listen close, come here
Be careful of what you drink
Make sure that you continue to think
But be sure you enjoy your drink
Or else, it might end up in the sink
