Chapter 38: Hospitals

Cams POV:

I'm sitting at my desk editing a video when my phone rings. I look at the caller ID and see its an unknown number.

*Convo* (C- Cam U- Unknown)

C- Hello
U- Is this Cameron Dallas?
C- Yeah? Why?
U- I'm lieutenant Douglas I'm at the scene of a car accident involving Molly Dallas and Shawn Mendes. Could you please get to the hospital ASAP?
C- I'm on my way

*End Of Convo*

I leap up from my desk and throw on a pair of shoes. I run downstairs passing Steph and Carter. 'Where are you going,' she asks? 'Accident... Molly... Shawn... Hospital,' I say. Steph gets up and we run out to my car.

I speed to the hospital narrowly avoiding some other drivers. I park the car and we run inside. I run up to the front desk. 'Molly Dallas and Shawn Mendes,' I say. 'Shawn Mendes is currently in surgery but Molly Dallas is in room 392 on floor 4,' she says. I nod and Steph and I run to the elevator.

We get up to floor 4 and find Molly's room. She lying on the hospital bed attached to wires. 'Molly,' Steph says barely above a whisper. I look at her and see tears running down her cheeks. I pull her into a hug. 'She'll be alright,' I reassure her. I feel her nod.

I let go of Steph and we each go over and sit next to Molly. Steph grabs her hand and starts saying things to her. I pull out my phone and text Nash.

C- At hospital room 392. Come now

He responds saying he's on they're on their way. I put my phone away and just look at Molly. She looks so peaceful but at the same time looks awful.

Soon after the guys run in. 'What happened,' Nash asks, 'and where's Shawn?' 'There was an accident and the car slammed into Shawns side. He's currently in surgery and Molly's well... Here,' I say.

There's an awkward silence where no one knows what to say. A doctor walks in. 'Hi I'm Doctor Greyson who's family,' he asks? 'We all are,' I say. 'Oh okay then. Well it seems as though Molly is doing fine. She had a large piece of glass in her stomach causing her to lose some blood. We managed to remove it and she should be awake in a few hours,' he says.

'What about Shawn Mendes,' Matt asks? 'Mr Mendes is currently in a medically induced coma to stop relax his brain. He has severe cuts over his torso, a few broken ribs and a broken wrist,' the doc says. 'Okay thanks,' Nash says. 'Shawn is in room 394 if you wish to go see him.' We all agree to go visit Shawn.
