'Starlight  beams through the clouds and maybe you could've seen the glimmer of distant stars. Long dead and collapsed inward, yet still board casting that glimmer, that twinkle. All over the sky. All over the world.
Despite being long gone, memory of beauty lives on the memory of those who experienced it.

Even when a person's beauty has been discarded. Innocence trampled on. Softness left behind. You'll never forgot what their smile was like, how it lit up the world. How their eyes had Nebulae inhabiting their pupils. And roses littering their cheeks.

And maybe in many years, you'll see them again. And the illusion May shatter. The facade may break.
And you'll see them as they are. Hostile and ruined. And now as much of a perpetrator, as a victim.

Or maybe you'll see them as they once where forever. The illusion holds up. The smoke and mirrors lives in your eyes.'

"Damn I should really go to sleep." Stella murmured to herself. She'd been writing- no scribbling. In her school notebook for what felt like hours now.
Despite her having school tomorrow there was nothing more enjoyable for her then writing her heart out. Pouring her vulnerabilities out onto a page that will never see the light.
She turned off her light green bedside mood lamp, as the light faded from her bedroom she slowly, quietly closed her notebook and placed it on her bedside table. Her soft hands catching on the darkness that not hung around her bedroom.

Not long after, soft snoring came from Stella's sleeping body. And she was asleep. Just as well really. Because god knows she needed it.

A silence had long since crept into her room. It made a home in there.
And now the only sound was the low hum of a creature. It's body tall and lanky, it's eyes large and blank, colourless black. It's face a white, pale haunting tint. And fingers long, interwoven with the darkness that lingered in her room.
The figure stood there for a while. Making no moves to harm Stella. And then quietly slipped out of sight, into the abyss of the lingering black.
