Spooky (Prologue)

Bang! Bang!

Spooky jumped from the floor. "Who's there?!" The old demon shouted, "Don't bang on my door!"

"I just want to see if anyone was in here!" A voice yelled back.

Spooky sighed. "Who is it?" He grumbled as he walked towards the doors. He opened them slowly as well as his eyes. "Who are you..?"

"I don't really have a name," the cube responded, "But you can call me 'Player'."

"Oh!" Spooky realized, "You must be a new player!"

Player nodded.

"W-Well," Spooky stammered, "you're not ready yet. Come back when you have ten User Coins."

"Where can I get those?" Player asked.

"Y-You can get them by playing online levels," Spooky pointed his slightly shaky hand towards the play button, "good luck completing them though. I heard that they're REALLY tough."

"Oh..." Player frowned a little, "Thanks for the heads up..." they were struggling for a moment. "What's your name?"

"I'm not supposed to disclose my name," Spooky told them, "RubRub's rules."

"Okay then," Player said, "where do I start?"

"Customize your cube," Spooky answered, "or start playing some of the official levels." Spooky wasn't a smart demon but he always knew the original rules of GD when someone asks him.

Player glances at the play button. "I guess I'll see you later, old demon,"

"T-Take care," Spooky waved to them as they walked away, "I hate cubes..."
