He tries to please everyone, and help anyone he can. He is selfless and is willing to sacrifice himself for someone he just met. He is also very protective of his friends. There they had a system that if your quirk was thought to be a danger to society you would have to be marked. Because Cassian couldn't control his quirk he was marked with a blue spiral tattoo for everyone to see. He was forced to be hidden away from the world, and his own parents were afraid of him. That being said, he still tried to make friends and learn. It never worked out though because he was always figured out. Whenever he was figured out he would get hit and told to never come out of his room. He was locked in his room for most of his life, being only fed a very small meal every week. One day when he escaped he say a flyer for an exchange program with Japan. He secretly applied and was accepted into UA. When he left, his parents showed no sign of caring. He was put into Class 1-B because that was the only class that was open. Once he got used to the class he actually made genuine friends, and decided to join Mirko's Hero Agency as an Apprentice, and when he was accepted he was considered one of the best.
