waking up with sore, red eyes and a cold wasn't what doyoung had in mind.
the boy had dragged himself home yesterday night, tears still streaming down his face after his breakdown in the middle of the road.
he wasn't in the mood to eat something too.
doyoung knew that skipping school today, especially since he joined only two weeks could possibly get him in trouble or worse, give him much more pending work, but he didn't care.
if anyone asks, he could cover it up by saying he was home sick or sick or something like that.
with that thought, doyoung threw himself onto his soft bed again, burying himself into the sheets, and letting his mind free of complicated feelings and two particular boys.

taeyong glanced worriedly at the school entrance, huffing as jaehyun appeared in front of him and shook his head no.
"where is he?"
"relax babe. i'm sure he's fine. maybe he woke up too late."
jaehyun swept taeyong into his arms, letting the elder bury his head in his neck, and tenderly kissed his forehead.
"what if it's our fault jaehyun?
what if he ran off?"
"why do you think it's our fault babe?"
"i don't know..
what if we were too obvious on how we feel about him?

let me tell you one thing. if doyoung doesn't feel the same way, it's okay love.

taeyong leant back, watching jaehyun with soft eyes as the younger bent his head down. cupping his cheeks, taeyong made jaehyun look at him.
"tell me."
"and if he creates a hole in our hearts by leaving, we can always find the missing puzzle piece."
taeyong cracked into a smile, laughing as he leaned his forehead against jaehyun's, both staring into each other's eyes lovingly.
it didn't matter to both of them that there were many students witnessing it, that there were cat whistles from the jocks.
what mattered was they had each other.

doyoung groaned as the loud alarm disturbed his sleep, and the boy proceeded to get up and stop it, only to fall back into bed.
weakly putting his hand on his forehead and then his neck, doyoung almost cried.
"and now i have a fucking fever."
