"how?"

"Excuse me?" ML gave the woman a confused look. MC had just went to washroom but midway he forgot to bring his phone which was with the ML and he too hears what the other two were now conversing abt.

"I mean, like (MC name) is the most coldest and emotionless person I've known. He didn't even show any care or affection for his dying mother. How can u be together with him? I feel pity for u."

Just listening this the MC runs out of the hall where the party is going on. Missing the chance to hear how ML defends him and their relationship.

He comes outside near the pool when he hears an weak, rusty voice of a man.

"How u doing young man?" Looking back he spots an old man on a wheelchair.

"Do I know u?"

"Oh certainly not. But I thought of checking up on you, due to how sad and hurt u appeared."

"I...did?"

MC didn't know what to feel. He had always had difficulty expressing feelings and if it were for before then no one would have known he was sad. Being with ML he certainly had learned to express them but it still seems that it was not enough for others.

"It's not your face that told me you're sad, it's your eyes."

"Huh?"

"Your face doesn't hold anything. But in your eyes I see everything. Those people in there, huh. They only focus on what's on the surface and not what's on the inside."

MC had stayed quiet. He thought of how no one actually had anything in their eyes. There eyes seemed hollow but their faces seemed to have it all. And now to think to him it really did matter what the eyes held. Because he always looked into the ML's eyes and there would always be love in them. He thought back to when his ML had that stoic face on but when he looked into his eyes, they were warm.

After a bit of talk with the man he went inside to find a worried ML.

"Where were u?!" The ML took him in his arms.

"Outside." MC had that gentle smile on his face looking at the worried ML.

"U could've told me atleast!"

"U were talking.."

ML suddenly appeared as if he had figured out that MC had listened to all the bullshit that woman spoke.

"Baby look. No matter what they say I know how expressive you've become. They just don't see it like I do."

"And how do u see it?"

"Your eyes tell."
