At the Phunsawat household
knocking was heard on his door that woke up him up.
"Who is it?"
"It's your maid, Young Master. I have come to give your breakfast."
Gun sat from his bed and said, "Yes, come in."
The maid walked in with soft footsteps holding a tray of food then placing it on the bedside table. She bowed her head to Gun while stating, "Young master, your Father asked me to tell you that after breakfast you shall go to the company."
Gun made an annoyed face after hearing this. Despite that, he took a deep breath and answered "Okay. Thank you. You may go."
As the maid closed the door behind her, Gun readied himself for a shower. He doesn't have a choice but to go since it was what he came back for.
On his way to his Father's company, after insisting that he will be the one driving, he never expected that he'd see him so soon. It was already a given that Gun will see Off again because of their positions but not this soon. He just hope that Off didn't recognize him.
With Off
He arrived at his company and saw his bestfriend grinning at him. His secretary, New, greeted Off as they headed towards his office. As soon as they got inside Off didn't waste a second and asked, "Did you find anything, Tay?"
Tay acted hurt and said, "Wow, is that how you greet your dearest bestfriend?" Off looked at him with a frown and placed his palm on his face.
"You know this isn't time for jokes, Tay." he said
"Geez, can't you take a moment and just chill?"
Off shot him a glare.
"Okay, okay. Calm down. I gave your secretary some of my discoveries." New handed Off the documents. Tay added, "Your competitors started their move. They began doing underground transactions and had meetings for several times now but one of them actually did this long ago 'til now. I'm still looking into this because they got it all covered up cleanly."
Off finished scanning the documents and it's true he found one odd company. All companies written in the documents were under fake names but this one seemed like they have records of doing this business for so long. Off placed the papers on his table.
"What do you plan on doing now, Off?" Tay asked.
Off stared at him and sighed. He responded, "Nothing... for now." Leaning back on his chair, he added, "We still better prepare." Off turned to his secretary and ordered, "New, please harden the security every data in our company. Make sure no information leaks out that may be used against us." He then turned to Tay and said, "Continue digging through them and if possible, tell me how I can slip in through one of their meetings."
