Part 1~new girl,new beggining

Y/n POV

Great.jusssssst great.I have to move from a big city to some dumb small town in Indiana. I loved living in Chicago, my school was huge. we had over 5,000 kid there.and now because my mom got promoted we had to move to this stupid place called Hawkins,Indiana, huh weird name. Supposedly only 700 kids go to this school. At least 8th grade just started so I didn't miss much but there was still now way I was gonna fit in

This is gonna suck

First day of school

My mom stops the car and says "here it is, Hawkins middle school I know you'll make so many new friends I love you soooooo much sweetie, bye!" She pecks me on the forehead -ew mom stop it-. I saw goodbye. I don't even go to the front desk to see where I'm heading but I don't give a shit. After a pretty long walk I finally find my class which is in the very back of the school, great. I walk in the class and everyone turns their attention to me, just what I wanted -_-

"Ah, finally! Everyone this is y/n she is new to school, would anyone want to show her around?" The teacher states. Well this was even more embarrassing I blush knowing no one would want to even bother getting near me. Suddenly this one guy with black curls in the back raised his hand and mumbled
"IguessIcouldhelpher..." he said that really awkwardly and guilt frankly, very fast. I don't think much of it

But he doesent get up. Just sits there, it looks like he's...waiting for something. Then a kid punched him in the arm and says
"Go on frog face, help the new girl out!" FROG FACE?! Excuse me? Has he even seen his jawline? It's handsome as hell. Far from looks like a frog

Wait, what am I thinking?!
I do NOT like this dude. I don't. Ew what am I doing...anyway he walks up to me and we walk out of the classroom.
"Hey, I'm mike, mike wheeler. And you might be?"
Wow gentleman much?
Oh, I'm y/n, y/n l/n. Nice to meet you mike"
"Wow that's a really pretty name oh uh I mean it's like totally tubular, aww shit I mean-" woah,he is really awkward .
"Hm it's fine mike don't worry about it" I giggle. He shows me around the school and we get back to the classroom door, I'm about to open the door but I catch his deep, luscious, blue eyes looking into mine.
"Well u um thanks for a showing me around mike it was...fun. You stutter " anytime y/n,hey, you know lunch is next would you maybe want to sit with my friends and I? We all may be a bunch of weirdo Outcast but I don't want you sitting all alone on your first day."
Wow he wants me to sit with him, or he's just being polite, anyway I accept "sure thanks I appreciate it."

When we walk Into class the bell rings meaning it's time for lunch, so me and mike are the first ones out. But of course being the clutz I am, I went butt first on the floor sliding in some water spilt in the corner of the classroom "ahhh,fuck!"
Mike jobs is jaw a little, widening his eyes, I think he's a little shocked I swore.
"Aww shit I mean uh crap. Gosh I'm so sorry I I didn't mean to say that excuse my language."
"Are you kidding me?! That was...sick! Sorry about that I just uh washed my hands I guess they are still wet." Nice,he was obviously lying, he's been with me the entire school period, and he never got a drink of water or went to the bathroom. I have to admit that excuse was pretty damn cute "oh it's no problem, see you at lunch." Then I head to my locker

Mikes POV

That new girl is...pretty
Woah, what am I thinking, I don't like anyone, at least I think, do I like Y/n, holy shit I like Y/n! But I know she would never like me, no one would. Anyways I head off to lunch and find Dustin, Lucus, and will sitting at our usual table. I sit down and say "hey guys I invited the new girl to sit with us today, she didn't have anyone else to sit with...that's okay right?

"You invited a GIRL to sit with US?!" Dustin exclaimed "ohhhhhh do you like this new girl" lucus said in a lovey dobey tone "since when did you get a girl to talk to you?" Will asked

"Ok all of you shut up. Dustin, what was I supposed to do? Let her sit in the floor? Lucus,screw you, I just showed her around the school. And will...really? Girls would be fine talking to me they just...don't have any reason to, ever."
They all chuckle.there she is...Y/n she looks confused but sits down anyway...but she sit down next to,me. "Hey I'm y/n I hope I'm not being intrusive to your group" "oh don't worry about it, hi my name is dus-" I cut Dustin off "that's Dustin, this is lucus, and that's will."
"Nice to meet you guys, I thought I would be all alone today so thanks for letting me...tag along" y/n laughs.  Y/n talks about where she is from and this just makes me think she's even more incredible! We share some laughs and then lunch ends. We both have the same classes, ride the same bus, and live in the same neighborhood...this can not be a coincidence what does all of this add up to?! I don't think much of it anymore but then it gets worse

<Evening>

Will,Dustin, lucus and I are playing D&D. Then I hear my mom call us "Boys! You have company!" Company? Why would we have company... and who?! We all go upstairs and I ask my mom who is here "A new girl just moved into the neighborhood, and her parents would like to get to know everybody." Oh it's... Y/n. When she walks through the door I start to get butterflies in my stomach, what is wrong with me?!
"H hey Y/n"
"Hey mike!"
...oh and hey lucus Dustin and will, nice to see you guys again!"
"Wanna come to my basement? You can watch us okay D&D!
"WATCH?I fucking love that game!!!!"
"Y/n....."
"Sorry mom"
"Haha great we will make a spot for you!"
