It was a normal monday evening, jack and lawrence were bored so they made brownies

they added all of the ingredients, 

flour

eggs

chocolate

butter

sugar

chocolate chips

as jack ran home from tescos, gathering all of the ingredients for the brownies, lawrence set everything up, prepared to make brownies.

''right so first, um'' jack paused for a second, checking the recipe for the brownies.

''we weigh 185g of unsalted butter'' lawrence said, gathering the butter

''yeah i knew that'' jack said ''just checking''

''whatever you say'' lawrence replied as he put his arm around jack's shoulder

lawrence sets up the scale as he puts the butter on top

''it says 182g''  lawrence says ''add a bit more''

jack adds tiny cups of butter

''185g'' lawrence says with glee as he reads the numbers on the scale

eventually, jack and lawrence gets the base of chocolate ready, 

they pour the chocolate into the baking tin and put it in for 25 mins in the oven

''make sure to set a timer so we don't forget'' lawrence says

jack agrees as he gets the timer from the cabinet and sets it for 25 mins

''now lets watch netflix''

the timer rings but jack and lawrence fall asleep, unable to hear the alarm

''do you smell smoke or is it just me?'' jack questions

''OH SHIT THE BROWNIES''

''OH NO''

jack takes the brownies out while lawrence uses a flannel to wipe out the smoke

''lets hope we don't get kicked out of uni'' jack says

''hope not'' lawrence chuckles

as jack takes the brownies out, they are rock cold with ash

''bon appetit?'' jack said as he takes a bite

''THIS TASTES LIKE FLAVORLESS MUD'' jack says

''how do you know how mud tastes like?'' lawrence says suspiciously

''um i have to go and walk my fish'' jack said as he runs out of the room

''you don't have one though'' lawrence says

''yes i do its just imaginary'' jack says

''COME BACK HERE'' lawrence says as he chases him
