The morning light filtering through the windows stings the barely awake Gundham's eyes. He sits up and stretches, looking over and smiling at a sleeping mechanic. Gundham pulls the covers off of himself carefully, making an effort to not wake his husband.
Barefoot and only in black sweatpants, the animal lover makes his way over to a large dresser. On top of that dresser sits a cage containing his Four Dark Devas of Destruction. He smiles fondly at his Devas and feeds them. After he finishes that task, Gundham makes his way to his and Kazuichi's apartment kitchen. He prepares to make breakfast for himself and his love.
Halfway into cooking, Gundham feels two arms wrap around his waist. He stops cooking the eggs and turns off the stove before turning around. "Good morning," the pink haired male says with a yawn. The dark man laughs lightly at the cute display and kisses Kazuichi on the forehead. "Good morning, my paramour. This morning's meal is almost ready, so please wait at the table." The sleepy mechanic nods tiredly and sits down at their wooden table and rests his head on the surface. Moments later, a plate laden with hot food is placed in front of him, causing him to lift his head. "Thank you as always," he cooed. The dark haired man rolls his eyes playfully. "And you're welcome as always." Gundham sits across from Kaz and the two behind to eat. "Do you really have to go to work already so early," asks Kazuichi in a sad tone. Gundham sighs and reaches across the table to place his hand on Kazuichi's rough and calloused ones. "The shelter had been evidently busy as of late. I fear I may not be able to return home until late in the evening, but I promise I'll make an effort to come back to you as soon as the shackles of my busy schedule permits." Gundham gives his lover's hand a reassuring squeeze and continues eating. Kazuichi nods slowly and continues his meal.

Kazuichi stands by Gundham at the door as the dark haired man puts on his shoes on to prepare to leave. He stands up, all ready, and gives Kazuichi a quick kiss on the lips. "I'll return soon, paramour. And if anything happens, please do not hesitate to summon me on the mobile device." The mechanic nods and watched as his husband exits the house. However, before he leaves, Gundham turns around at the door. "And remember Kazuichi, positive thoughts, yes?" Kazuichi nods at this and sees the self proclaimed dark lord leave.
"How am I supposed to have positive thoughts if you're not here with me?" Fat, salty tears stream down Kazuichi's already red cheeks. His chest heaves with the uneven breaths he takes. "Please come back to me, Gundham," he emits another sob, "Please don't leave me alone."
