Roceil-The next day...
As I tossed and turned in my bed, the sun was beginning to shine through my curtains. Finishing up my hygiene routine in the restroom, I decided to cook some breakfast. It was the least I could do for Cei since she has always been there for me since middle school days.
Sitting on top of the kitchen counter while staring at nothing in particular my mind began to explore on its own...
Sausage? No, bacon.
Eggs? Yes.
Pancakes? Nah, french toast.
Grits? Yes.
Coffee or Orange Juice? Both!
Beginning to prep for breakfast, I started rethinking over the feud with Michael and I.
Was I boring in bed?
Did he tell females he loved them during sex as he did with me?
How did any of them look?
Does he love them and just using me?
If he wasn't happy why couldn't he tell me from the beginning?
"ROCEIL?!" Said Cei. I saw that she by the stove fanning. "Bitch you bout to kill us!"
"Damn. My bad." I mumbled, watching her throw away the eggs I had just burnt.
"Your bad? What's going on with you?" She questioned with furrowed eyebrows.
" Nothing." I lied.
Ceila knew I was lying. We had a special gift of knowing each other's thoughts or feelings without it being told nor shown. Most would call it creepy, but we would call it our very own "special touch".
"You were thinking about Michael and the argument last night, huh?"
See.
"No... I was thinking about school." I lied again.
She laughed. "Hoe quit lying!" "I was thinking we should head to Mama Sarrah house. I'm pretty sure that my mama big head ass already there. She's not answering her phone as usual." Rolling her eyes.
"I'm cool with that. Mama probably cooked breakfast since I burnt the eggs." I mumbled.
"Yeah, burnt like Michael Blackson." We both began to laugh.
