Lexa said she wanted to go back to Clarke, but Jamie looked at her with puppy eyes and she couldn't deny that cute face. So she stayed. She taught the little girl another song. The girl struggled pressing down the keys so Lexa helped her.

Clarke was still drawing a flower with Ella. Every time she said it was done Ella made up some new thing she wanted to add to make Clarke stay. 'Ella what are you guys up to?' Clarke asks. 'Nothing.' The small blonde girl says.

'Raven please help us.' The boy says. 'Why do you need a mistletoe.' Raven asks. 'No reason.' The boy says. 'Fine I'll do it.' The boy's face lit up.

The boy went to Clarke and Ella. He tapped on Ella's shoulder. She turned around. 'Is it ready?' Ella asks. The boy nods. Ella smiles. 'Is what ready?' Clarke asks. 'Nothing.' Ella says. 'You keep saying that but I don't believe you.' Clarke says. Ella stands up and grabs Clarke's hand.

Jamie grabbed Lexa's hand and dragged her to the living room. Lexa was confused about what was going on, but she just followed Jamie.

When Clarke arrived in the middle of the living room she saw Lexa standing opposite of her. 'What's going on?' Clarke asks. 'I don't know.' Lexa says. Jamie grabs both of their hands and forces them to hold hands. 'Jamie.' Clarke says. The little girl ignores Clarke. She points at the ceiling. Clarke and Lexa look up. Lexa chuckles. Clarke sighs. 'Oh god Lexa I'm so sorry.' Clarke says. 'You need to kiss.' Jamie says. 'Look there's a mistletoe.' Ella says. Clarke rolls her eyes. 'It's the rules Clarke.' Lexa says. Clarke chuckles. Lexa pulls Clarke closer to her. She cups her cheek with her hand and pulls her face closer. Their lips meeting in the middle. The kids were cheering around them. Even Raven and Octavia were cheering. It felt like the time froze and it was just the two of them.

They heard someone clear their throat and then the clapping and cheering stopped. Lexa pulled away and looked over Clarke's shoulder to see an older woman standing there. Clarke does the same. 'Mom?' She asks. Lexa quickly lets go of Clarke. She walks towards her mom. 'What are you doing here?' She asks. 'Not important. What is going on here?' Abby asks. 'Uhh the kids hung up a mistletoe.' Clarke says. 'So you kiss a random stranger.' Abby says. 'She's not a random stranger mom.' Clarke says. 'How so?' Abby asks. 'I asked her out.' Clarke says. 'And you take her here?' Abby asks. 'Yeah I know it's weird.' Clarke says. 'I told you no kissing in front of the kids.' Abby says. She slightly raised her voice. 'Miss Griffin?' Jamie asks. 'Yes sweetie?' Abby asks. 'It was my fault.' Jamie says. 'No Jamie it's not your fault.' Clarke says. 'I don't want you to get in trouble Clarke.' Jamie says. 'I won't be.' Clarke says. 'You're forgiven.' Abby says. 'I wasn't apologizing.' Clarke says. 'No need to act like this.' Abby says. 'Introduce me to her.' Abby says. Clarke rolls her eyes. She wants to say no but if her mother wants something she gets it.

'I know you don't usually meet parents on first dates, but this is my mom Abby Griffin.' Clarke says. 'Lexa Woods. Nice to meet you Miss Griffin.' Lexa says. 'Do you like my daughter?' Abby asks. Lexa didn't expect this question. 'Well this is our first date, but yes.' Lexa says. 'Well then it's fine.' Abby says.

Later that night Clarke takes Lexa outside to the garden. 'I'm sorry about my mom.' Clarke says. 'Oh don't worry.' Lexa says. 'Nobody can see us here.' Clarke says. She tugs at Lexa's coat. Lexa hums. 'Is that so?' She says. Clarke hums back. Clarke pulls her close. Her lips on her Lexa's. Lexa's hands trail up and down Clarke's body. Just the two of them in the garden.

It all started under a mistletoe. There are many more mistletoe kisses to come for the two of them.
