Do I really have to do this!
I ask my mom as she helps me pack some stuff.
"Yes you do", she says while taking out pairs of jeans from my closet.You know you've always wanted and dreamt of this.It's just surprising that you are whining alot.Come on Gen grow up!
Ugghhh!! I just end up staring at her like a lost puppy
Its just that she's like packing my stuff like I'm in the sixth grade or something.But that's exactly what I love about her she's been so close to me.Since dad is so occupied with work she's been there to fill the gap.
Suddenly my bedroom door burst out open.
I just knew it. Its him.
Again!
Seriously Craig !!!
Did you just have to come in my room like that.
"Yeah! I'm so not saying sorry",he says.
A wide grin appears on his face.
"Oh come on Gen", he sighs."I just thought maybe I could just annoy you a bit you know this is my own kind of way to sort of say bye I wanna hangout with you a little more . I will actually miss you don't you know that already."
"Hey!" He calls out for my attention.
Why are you just staring instead of replying or something.
I just couldn't believe that Its Craig the one that is talking.
But of course I wouldn't give him the pleasure of knowing
So I just say,"Sorry I think I zoned out"
"Would you please say what you were saying earlier again," I
say while a smile appearing on my face.
"What?",he asks showing clearly he's not ready to speak again
"I just told you that I like zoned out so can you please repeat again".I tell him
"Uhhmm....Okay",he sighs
"I was just saying that I'm like annoying you because I know that I'll miss you alot so this is my kind of own way of spending time with you."
"Thats so sweet of you",I say then I pull him into a tight hug
"Ohh please stop being emotional",he says.
Back into his moods
"Okay then.If you will excuse us your sister and I have things to do",mom says.
"I think you guys should just have a mother-daughter date or something like that",he says while leaving the room
After he left I just started considering what he said.
Maybe I should have a mom-daughter.Its been a while.
"Are you thinking about what he said?",mom asks taking me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah I can say so",I tell her.
She's just so damn good at reading my thoughts.
" So just tell me when and where.I have taken a leave at work so I'm free for the week and the upcoming one too."
Why does she even have ro ask for permission anyways she owns the firm.I wish dad even once considered his family and make it a priority.
" Okay I'll make time",I shortly reply.

I think its been awhile know lets just do other things its a week till the field trip even starts why dont we just do other things.
We'll just do the packing later.
Hopefully she agrees.

"Okay",she replies.
I can't hide the smile forming on the edge of my lips.
But I keep on doing this you can just get a rest,she adds.
Thanks but no thanks we are all getting a rest besides I'm kind of going out.
See you later then I tell her.
"Where to?",she asks.
"I'm going to meet some of my friends at the nearby càfe and dont worry its not like we'll be drinking or something Cherry will also be there".
"Okay dont stay out too long ",mom says.
Thats exactly what I like about her she kind of understands me too well and does not control me like a toy.And I'm already late right now Cherry will definately kill me.
OMG!
I can't see my car keys.
"Looking for these",Craig says.
My saviour!
But wait where did he even get them.
I'll deal with that later.
"Thank you" I say while grabbing the keys that he threw but ended on the floor and running towards the door.
"Anytime!"

"You really dont expect me to say its okay do you", Cherry says.
Ohh please!
Before I reply she pulls me into a tight hug.
I was just kidding she burst out laughing.
I have good news by the way.I am also going to the trip.
Thats great!I say.
"Yeah!"she says
"Well you said you won't come what made you change your mind?"I ask.
"I don't even know why?",she replies.
"Okay anyways,I'm happy that you'll be there",I tell here while my eyes are roaming around scanning the menu.
Don't be so happy I have some news you will not like.
"Oh nothing can destroy my happiness right now",I say courageously while dropping the menu on the table.

"Someone else is also coming."
"Who?".
