Under stand that I love writing, but I get writers block sometimes pretty easily. Forgive me!

... I'll try and update as much as I can. But, yeah. I hope you you like my first ever story. ;*

Prologue

Archer Hawkins sat on his families old blue recliner, a stolen beer in hand and the remote in the other. Flipping through the channels as he did every Sunday night before bed, he sighed as he settled on an old movie. The town of Destina was quiet, nothing ever happened, so when his parents left him alone, they had trusted that no one would try to break in. There hadn't been a break in since the early 20th century when the town was made, but that was about to change...

Archer, with his eyes glazed over, chugged down his second beer, crushing it then grabbing for another. The tv blaring, and the beer slowing his reflexes, he didn't even hear when the front door was opened and someone tall and hooded slid into the kitchen, back towards his room. When his door finally creaked open it was too late. Archer tried to turn as his throat was grabbed and a strong hand firmly pressed his head back against the head rest. Struggling he turned to look up at the hidden face of the stranger.

"W-who are you?" He struggled to say. The hooded figure laughed with a low voice, and as Archer's lungs started to collapse in on themselves and his eyes bulged as his heart started to slow, then did the figure pull his hood off. Archer's last sight was of a boy with golden eyes, jet black hair, and a perfect face.

"Destina's worst nightmare," was what the boy replied as Archer's eyes fluttered closed.
