Demon and Puppy

Ebi was sleeping on the couch in his animal form and looked like he was having the best sleep of his life. While Raven sat beside him, rubbing his head looking out the window in thought. Then he felt Ebi change into a human and sit up stretching his small arms.

Seeing his friend in thought he asked, "Is everything okie Rave Rave?" he asked tilting his head in confusion. Jumping at his voice not noticing he had woken up. Raven just smiled and nodded, "I'm fine, just thinking." he said and continued to look out the window, watching the rain drops slide down the transparent frame.

Ebi knew that wasn't the case, he jumped on the coach getting his attention again. "Woah!" Raven laughed, calming the dog. "I want to know..." Ebi said in a whiny voice. The older male sighed and pet his head. "It's something you won't understand." he smiled to him again hoping he would understand.

Usually, Ebi would but something inside of him kept persisting. "Please tell me, maybe I ca--"

"Ebi I said no!!" Raven yelled, his voice coursing through the walls.

Ebi whimpered, his bottom lip trembling. Hands over his cheeks as tears spilled out.
"Ravey..." He whispered and ran up the stairs, slamming a door.

Raven held his head as he sighed. "I didn't mean to make him cry." He got up from the couch, making his way up the stairs.
He looked down the hallway, wondering where the scared pup went. His and Dusk's room or Light and Foss' room?

He soon got a answer, hearing sniffles and crying from Light's room.
Raven made his way towards there, opening the door slowly to not frighten the already frightened Ebi.

The demon lightly knocked on the door, Ebi gasped and crawled closer to the head board.
"Don't be afraid." Raven whispered while walking to the bed, sitting on the edge of it.

Ebi shook his head, "I'm not scared, just hurt..." He whispered into his knees.
Raven grew confused, "When Light yells at you, all you do is point your ears down and pout."
Ebi blushed slightly but Raven didn't notice. "What's up with that?" He asked while scooching closer to the dog.

"W-Well...you don't need to know!" Ebi pouted and turned away, crossing his arms like a child who can't get ice cream.
Without him noticing, Raven slid closer to him and gently grabbed his chin, turning his head to face his.
He wiped away the tears on his cheeks with a soft, genuine smile with loving eyes. He knew he had to be gentle to gain his trust back.

Ebi's face turned red as he averted his golden eyes to the side, trying to avoid the strong gaze of violet eyes.
"Look at me." Raven whispered, rubbing his red cheeks with his cold hands.

With no words, Ebi averted his eyes back to look into a strong gaze.
When he did, Raven's demonic heart melted a bit. To avoid it he let go of his cute cheeks and turned away.

Ebi tilted his head but stayed quiet because last time he got yelled at.
Raven breathes heavily through his nose, thinking.

"I need to forget about her. It's hard to but..." He looked back at the cute Shota, waiting for him to speak.
When Raven saw Ebi, his past with the Kuudere witch melted away.

The dog barked slightly with an adorable smile. Raven then had his mind on him and only him.
Ebi moved closer to him so their legs were touching, "C-Can I help with your problems...?" He asked.

Raven nodded, "First tell me why my yelling hurt you."
Ebi blushed again. He looked down at his legs, kicking them over the edge since they couldn't reach the ground.
