C H A P T E R - 4

"Then you should come to our place and change your clothes before you get sick !" He said.

You nodded and walked with him, until you stopped in front of an old church.

"This is The Special Fire Force Company 8's place !" Ōbi said.

You two walked into the building, he put the umbrella in the corner, then he leaded you to the office, you looked around there were some desktops and a sofa with a small table in front of it.

"No one is here now, Shinra and Arthur went to training with members of company 4, Iris and Maki went to shopping, Hinawa went to buy some hats !"he said while he was searching in his locker.

"Hinawa ?!"

"Oh you didn't meet him yet, he is lieutenant of our company!" He said.

"He must be strong!" You said.

"Sure he is !"he walked closer to you and handed clothes to change, you took it and thanked him, you walked into another room and changed the clothes, you walked out.

"Hehe ! It seems that a little big sized on you !" He said while looking at you, he was sitting on the sofa, you wear an orange jumpsuit with a black shirt under it, you tied your hair in a messy bun style.

"Well, I guess it's better than my wet clothes !" You said sitting on edge of the sofa.

"Here is a cup of warm tea, it will make you better!" He leaned a cup of tea to you, you accepted it gladly.

"Sorry if the clothes is smelly, I couldn't find anything better than this, and I can't open the girls locker !" ōbi said

"It's fine, actually it smells good !" You said.

He was drinking his tea when he heard what you said he choked and coughed.

"Are you alright?!" You asked in worry.
"Yes yes ! I'm fine" his face was covered by blush, waving his hand in the air.
"Are you sure ?!" You asked him again.
"Uhaha !! Yes don't worry" he said laughing nervously.

Minutes later you fell asleep on the sofa, Ōbi brought a blanket and put it on you to make you warm since it's cold outside, after an hour you woke up on Ōbi's voice.

"Yes Shinmon ! She is here ... yes she is fine don't worry ... ok ......... we will be waiting for you .... bye ..." he hanged the phone down.

You sat on the sofa and looked to Ōbi with an upset face, he looked at you.

"Oh, you woke up ! You seemed very tired !" He said while he was smiling at you.

"I didn't want him to know where I am !" You said in serious voice.

"Huh ?!"

You stood up and walked to the outside door, but Ōbi stopped you by holding your hand, you turned to look at him with a question look.

"What are you doing?! Please let me go !"

"I don't know what's between you and Shinmon, but it's not the right way the deal with problems!"Ōbi said.

"I don't want to deal with him, now please let go of my hand !"

"He was worrying about you !" He said

"Huh ?!" You looked at his eyes.

"He was searching for you in all over the town!"

"....."

You stopped pulling your hand and looked down to the floor, Ōbi letted your hand off.

"I don't ask you to forgive him or not, it's up to you, but you must to face your problems, even tho you liked the results or not !" He put his hand on your shoulder, you looked up to his face and smiled to you.

"I I guess you are right !" You agreed.

You heard knocking door, Ōbi went to open the door.

"Oh , you came quickly"
"Where is she ?!"
"She is inside, come on in!"

You were sitting on the sofa feeling nervous, you felt butterflies in your stomach, while you were hearing the conversation, you heard footsteps coming closer to the office room.

"Come in please !" Ōbi opened the door for Shinmon, he entered the room, Ōbi kept outside and closed the door, to give you some privacy, it was silent, you could hear his heavy breaths, you waited when he is going to speak, you curiously took a peek on him from the corner of your eye, he was soaking by the rain, he was dropping water off his hair, he looked at your appearance for awhile.

"Thank god you are fine !" He spoke finally.

"....." you were listening.

"Hikage and Hinata were looking for you!"

"Is that what you came for ?!" You grabbed your clothes with your hands.

"......" he kept quite for awhile.

"Konro told me everything!" He said.

"You were so cruel to me, you even didn't give me a chance to explain to you, your actions hurt me so much, Shinmon!" You stood up facing him and started to cry.

"I HATE Y-.."

he cut you by putting his hand on the back of your head and pushed you quickly and gentle to his chest, you froze for a moment then you buried your face on his chest to hide it while you were crying.

"I'm sorry (y/n)" he was rubbing your head gently to calm you down.

"You are such an idiot!" You said
"Yes, I know" he replied.

Skip Time ~

You and Shinmon thanked Ōbi for helping you.

"Our door is open to you anytime you want to come!" Ōbi said smiling.

"I will Ōbi San ! Thank you for everything!" You said waving a hand to him.

You and Shinmon were walking back to home and holding a bag of your wet clothes, the rain has stopped.

"Ohh ! Look ! It's a rainbow!" You pointed to the sky,
Shinmon smiled from your childish actions.

"Thank you (y/n) !"
"Huh ! For what ?!"
"For healing Konro, he is better now"
"I'm so happy that he is better now !"

"Don't forget what you promised me !!"
"Alright Alright! I will buy for you some Mochi!" (Rice Cake) he said.

"Yayy !" You were happy, you ran to the store to buy some Mochi, Shinmon were looking at you and smiling.
