Hermione's Pov: She coughed loudly as she heard footsteps coming into the room,"bloody hell where did you both go?" Rebekah shouted as she helped Hermione off the floor and into the living room to be greeted by worried yet angry faces."Well that was intriguing situation"Kol said while smirking as he took as glass of blood and sips some while Elijah gives him a disapproval look.
"Yes if you call nearly getting burnt alive intriguing" Hermione coughed while looking annoyed at the past situation. "You nearly what!" Derek shouted angry while getting of the chair to face Hermione,"you could had died what were you thinking!"he says with a worry look in his eyes.
"It wasn't her fault some crazy bastard set the church on fire" Kol says annoyed while looking at Derek,Freya sighs while rubbing her face "did you find what you where looking for or was that a waste of time" she says trying to change the subject.

"Yes and no" Hermione says while going to sit down on the couch,Elijah walks into the room and sighs with relief while handing Hermione a glass of water. She takes it off him and drinks the water feeling her lugs begin to feel less cloudy."You had me.. I mean us worried sick" Elijah says while moving a piece of hair out of Hermione's face,she feels warm for some strange reason.
"We found another clue" she coughed trying to change the atmosphere in the room,"another one? Oh how wonderful" Klaus says annoyed with these riddles. Hermione shows him the necklace everyone in the room looks shocked,how on Earth can necklace that looks to have been made in the 21 century somehow ended up in the past.
He turns the necklace around to see the symbol again he look confused,hands back the necklace to Hermione. "In the past the church burnt down and there was a mysterious man if you could call him that he was barely living" She said while remembering the man oh how hideous he was but there was something clearly going on he looked to be in his late 20's but had the appearance of a old man.
"He was covered in black veins and his face was burnt off,he looked like he had his youth sucked out of him with his old man form" Kol says while drinking more blood while smirking.
"He disliked witch's a lot.. no more like he hated them" Hermione says reminding herself on what he said. "During that time inquisition was killing witchs and burning them alive due to them being so devoted to god" Klaus says sarcastically while sitting down on the chair opposite to Hermione.
"He wasn't we saw him angry throwing the bible onto the floor in front of statue of Jesus Christ" Hermione says while frowning softly she didn't believe in god but know that it was so uncomfortable to watch the man break apart. She was messing around with the necklace and something went pong the middle part of the necklace came out to reveal the address of the church. Klaus grabs a hold of the note before saying"i think you had to much fun for the day,you need to stay and rest love you are looking pale" as he finished the last word hermione fants falling into someone's arms.

Derek's Pov: I catched Hermione before she falls to the ground,she was burning up and looking pale like a ghost,"she had to muuch smoke in her lung she will be fine after she sleeps it off" Elijah says softly while looking at Hermione with softness in his eyes,wait it can't be.He can't be that means... I jumped slightly after feeling Hermione move,"I'll take her to her room"I insisted feeling unease at the this strange feeling growing in my stomach.I walk out the room sighing as I climbed up the stairs and made a left turn at end of the staircase.I walked through the hallway's confused by they whole situation,yes I'm angry that Hermione was so reckless but in a sense it reminded me of the pack....

I haven't seen them since.... my thoughts come to end as I reached her room,I opened the door to see her suitcase and her belongings. I placed her into the bed covering her with the covers to keep her warm.My eyes darted to a open book I shouldn't look...but I saw a photo of Hermione with her friends?

She's smiling at.. wait who is this man? A lover? Her brother? I shake my head with disbelief at myself.I shouldn't be looking I walked out the room and head back to join the others.

"Well I guessed we should go and find the church" I say making everyone look at me,I leaned on the wall waiting for their response."Yes Derek that would be wise but someone has to stay to look after Hermione" Freya says while looking at a map of the city,"I will" Elijah says while handling me back my phone.
"Great well brother we won't be to long" Klaus says before I follow them out the mansion. "Do you think our brother will be fine by himself?" Rebekah says as we get inside of the car.
"She can protect him with her stick wait I meant wand don't worry I've see her do magic it's very.. impressive" Kol says smirking.
I roll my eyes at him as the car's engine begins and we leave to go to the mysterious location.
