AU: Negan is fairly new to Alexandria's community. He's spent his time inside, adjusting at his house that he is sharing with Aaron. Though it's been almost a month since Negan arrived at Alexandria, he hasn't really introduced himself to many people and is keeping quiet, to himself. He's then asked to go on a supply run with a few other people, one of them being Rick Grimes.

Negan wakes up, rolling over to check the time, it's 5:08am. Ever since he's been at Alexandria, he hasn't been able to sleep well. Though he thought having a bed for once would help him sleep, it didn't. Deciding to get up, he walks to the bathroom and turns on the water, waiting for it to warm up so he can get in the shower. He undresses and gets in, washing himself and just relaxing.

Over at Rick's house a few hours later, Rick is up and getting ready for the day. Looking through some notes while getting dressed he decides it's a supply day. He stops and thinks of who he could bring with him on this supply run. Names flood through his mind, stopping at Negan, who is new to Alexandria. Though he hasn't even met the man yet, he wants to bring him out and see what he can offer. He slips on his worn boots and heads out.

Walking out of his house, he heads down the street keeping an eye out for Negan but he's nowhere to be seen. All Rick knows is Negan shares a house with Aaron, so he figures that's where he is. Approaching the steps to the front door, Aaron opens the door and closes it behind him. "Oh hey, Rick!" Aaron says while walking towards Rick. "Hey. Have you seen Negan?" Rick asks, looking around the front porch. "Oh um yeah, he's just inside in the kitchen. Just finished eating." Aaron replies curiously. Rick looks toward the door. "You mind if i go in?" Rick asks. "Sure, go ahead. I was just heading out anyways. I'll talk to you later." Aaron says, then starts walking towards the street. Rick walks up the steps and through the front door. He makes his way to the kitchen where he finds Negan at the sink, washing a few dishes. He turns around to look at Rick. "Hey there. You're Rick right?" Negan asks with a slight smirk on his face. He turns off the sink then wipes his hands on a towel. "Yup, that's me." Rick says, giving a smirk back to Negan. "So I know you're knew here and all, I figure you haven't gone out on any supply runs yet?" Rick asks raising an eyebrow. Negan let's out a small breath before speaking. "Nope, just been inside a lot. I have been helping out at the garden here and there, but I'm just trying to get comfortable here." Says Negan, curious if he's even been helping out enough. He looks Rick up and down quickly, observing the man since this is his first time seeing him. God. He's attractive.
"I'm planning on going out on a run today, so since you haven't been out yet, you're welcome to come. Michonne and Tara are also coming along, but we'll be splitting up once we hit a town." Rick implies, also looking Negan up and down while he waits for a reply. "You know what, that sounds like a plan! Starting to get a little bored in this damn house anyways." Negan says with a smile on his face. "Alright, be by the gate at 12 and we'll head out." Rick says as he takes a few steps back towards the door. "Ok, see you later then Rick." Says Negan. Walking out the door, Rick starts to think. Jeez he couldn't keep his eyes to himself.

Rick is waiting at the gate for Michonne, Tara and Negan to arrive. He checks his ammo, making sure he has enough in case of any trouble outside. Michonne is first to arrive, then Tara and Negan. Negan introduces himself, then they head out. Approaching a small town, Rick decides to split up into two groups. "Michonne and Tara, you guys stay together and check that side. Negan and I will handle this side." Rick states, then watches Michonne and Tara walk off. Rick looks back at Negan. "Come on, let's go this way." Rick says waiting for Negan to nod. They start walking towards a pharmacy, which looks pretty run down, but it's worth looking inside for any meds.

After clearing out the pharmacy, they were only lucky enough to get a few full bottles of aspirin and some antibiotics. Walking out the door, Rick starts up a conversation. "So Negan, you liking Alexandria so far?" Rick asks curiously. "Hell, it's the best place I've been to so far. Running water, electricity, shelter, what's not to love?" Negan replies with a full smile. Rick is happy to hear that. He genuinely loves that he has a place people can call home. "I'm glad." Rick replies.
