Later on a nurse came out and told me that I could go in and see him. they said that he was in a coma and wouldn't be awake for several weeks because of the fall down the stairs. he was just lucky that he didn't fall from the 5th floor witch was where our bedroom was. the 4th floor was where his writing room was. I was distraught. Here was the man that I had spent the last 16 years with had a family with laying in a hospital in a coma. I knew our kids needed me most in this time but I didn't want to leave John's side because he also needed me and would probably need me for the rest of our lives but I was trying not to think about that.

I went out to my car and got a notebook so that I could write a letter to John. I was going to write to John every day that he was in a coma about his progress, and how much we missed him so that once he was awake we could read them together.

Hey Johnny

today you fell down the stairs from the 4th floor. you have a broken Pelvis and a shattered spine. the nurse said that your lucky you didn't fall from the 5th floor because if you did Baby you probably would have died. and I don't think I could handle losing you. the kids only know that you had an accident and I think I'll have Mimi or George and Ringo tell them. your also lucky that you work from home because there seriously doubting if you'll walk again but I know  you will.

Mimi is worried sick and so am I. remember John your the Love of my life, my soul mate and that's why I'll stay with you John Winston McCartney/Lennon.

Love as always

and your hole fucking family

I wrote while holding his cold and clammy hand in mine. I almost thought that he was dead duo to how cold his hand was but the nurse kept assuring me that he was still alive. I was going to call Mimi in the morning to bring the kids in so I could explain in depth what happened and what our lives would be like in the future
