"Molly. Molly Hooper. Can you hear me? If you can hear me, open your eyes." I could hear the mans voice but I didnt have enough energy in me to do what he asked. My eyelids fluttered as I tried to force them open, but to no avail.
"Thats it, Molls. You can do it. Were on our way to the hospital. Sherlock is responding well to the medication they gave him and he should wake up soon if all goes well..." Someone spoke to me softly. The mention of his name jolted my heart to pump blood faster. My eyes shot open finally which caused me to squint from the lack of darkness. I was inside the ambulance with Lestrade sitting to my right and the man that mustve caught me to my left. He smiled genuinely at me when my eyes relaxed and adjusted to the new found light.
"Ms. Hooper, you are well enough to visit Mr. Holmes but you will need to stay calm no matter the circumstance because if not youll be putting yourself at risk... blink twice if you understand." I blinked twice and Lestrade sighed in relief. "Im going to put you to sleep until we get to the hospital to keep your vitals at a stable level..." I tried to nod but my muscles were still too relaxed. He placed a clear liquid onto the IV that was pricked into the crook of my elbow, I cant remember the proper name of the liquid or when he had inserted the IV but I quickly became drowsy. And began to drift off.
"Make sure Im awake... when Sherlock on news mentioned..." My sentences became scrambled as the dark fog of sleep clouded my thoughts and senses. I finally gave in to the drug.

Sherlocks POV (inside Mind Palace)
"You remember what we learned, Sherlock? Which way?" Molly appeared behind me. I spun around, my vision blurry with what seemed to be tears.
"Which way?" I asked confused.
"Sherlock! Youve just been shot. You need to figure out how youre going to fall. Where were you shot?" My mind began to spin out of control as my thoughts began to drown me. A sharp pain brought me back to my senses as Mind Palace Molly slapped me across the face.
"I dont know. I dont know." Molly looked at me skeptically, disappointed with me for some reason.
"Oh dont be a fool, Sherlock. You know that Mummy would tell you to think. So think." Mycroft had appeared behind where Molly had been standing. "What happened before you got shot?"
"Think. Think." I placed my hands to my lips in concentration. I remembered turning my back away from Moriarty while holding My Molly... but nothing afterwards. " I dont know if the bullet went through me or not. I was shot from behind Molly! What do I do?!?!"
"There isnt an exit wound... so which way do you fall?" I thought it through, remembering our lessons. I would have to fall forward. "Good. Fall forward. Now" Molly edged me on and I swiftly landed on my front.

*3rd person pov*
Molly heard a dull snapping relatively close in proximity to her ears. Her senses began to sharpen as she regained consciousness. John Watson was hovering over her, along with Greg Lestrade. They smiled at her grimly.
"Molly, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Sherlock isnt responding to the fluids they are trying to give him, and hes lost too much blood.... we would need an immediate blood transfer from the right blood type in the hospital, but the odds of finding anyone is highly unlikely and...." Lestrade began to break the news to her with a heavy heart, but was cut by John.
"Actually, Sherlock is dying but Molly has the proper blood type for the transfusion. He is O+, she is O-, so she can give him blood without fear of messing with his blood stream or causing any clotting... Are you up from transferring blood to Sherlock, Molly?" John inquired with a hopeful expression on his aging face.
"Of course I am! I'm not going to let him die! Hurry up and get him healed, please!!" Molly exclaimed desperately while fumbling with the buttons on her bright yellow cardigan that had her lover's blood on it. She had never liked needles. even though she works with them constantly in the morgue, but she was going to put a brave face on in order to save the man's life. "We need to hurry... I'm fine just get this in order so he can get better faster! GO LESTRADE!" She screamed shrilly, scaring both the detective inspector and the army doctor. Greg quickly scurried out of the room to find a nurse to perform a blood transfusion while John tried to calm Molly down.
"It's going to be okay, Molls. Everything will be fine, I promise..." he began to run his fingers through her hair, trying to assure safety and comfort in his serene tone, but Molly was agitated for more than one reason, Sherlock was one, needles another, but she hadn't heard any news about Mary...
"John... Is Mary alright? I'm terribly sorry that I put her life in danger, let alone the twins... I am so so sorry, John. Had I known what was going to happen, I would've gotten her out as soon as possible Is she okay? Is she alive? Are the babies okay?" She was hysterically crying now, blubbering like a small child. John looked over at her and inhaled deeply, dragging his hand over his face, then answered Molly's million questions.
"Listen, Molly...."
