Simba took a quick shower and got dressed in his official king's robe. His crown was polished, and he wore it. Then he took a look in the mirror. He looked like the red-haired version of a young Abraham Lincoln. Only with a crown, instead of a long hat.
Then he walked outside. Golden sunshine got in from the windows and onto the royal red carpet of the hallway. Nala was already waiting. She looked gorgeous in her queen's outfit. Simba greeted his wife.
"Good morning, you're looking rather nice." Simba said in a teasing tone of the husband.
"Oh, thank you." Nala said in a very different English accent.
Both Simba and Nala burst into a quiet laughter. They'd tried to sound calm, but in the end, they could not help but laugh.
"Ahh I see. Your Majesty, is Kiara ready?" Zazu entered the hallway, in his blue outfit and a captain's hat that made him look ridiculously like a pirate. His long nose didn't help.
"Yes, she is." A voice came back from behind Simba and Nala. Sarabi walked out, holding Kiara in her arms.
"My, my, she's beautiful." Zazu grinned.
Together, they all descended staircase after staircase, Simba and Nala in front, Sarabi and Zazu following behind. They were forst greeted by a skinny, short, elfish-looking man, and a beefy guy.
"Simba! Oh my God, are you ready?" Timon asked.
"Yes, quite." Simba agreed.
"Simba, are we going to have a feast today?" Pumbaa asked. Then he thought that it was not the first question he was supposed to ask.
Simba burst into laughter. "Sure, of course! We'll be having chefs from all around the Pridelands cook delicious food.
Pumbaa's stomach growled.
Timon and Pumbaa quickly ran down the stairs. After reaching the ground floor, they were greeted by the Royal Doctor, Rafiki.
"Ah... meet me upstairs." The old man said. He was dressed in a very traditional robe. Zazu did not like the idea of going upstairs just after they've reached the ground floor as was gasping for air, but kept his mouth shut.
But before going upstairs, they showed Kiara to all the residents of the Pride Palace. After they reached upstairs, Rafiki looked at Kiara, and from a bottle of red powder, took some and spread it over the child's forehead. Then he lifted her up and went to the Royal balcony. A crowd had gathered all around the Palace. "Aaahs" and Ohs" were heard.
Rafiki lifted Kiara by under her arms and peered her over the balcony of the fifth floor. Simba's heart shook, and so did Nala's and Sarabi's of the fear that he might drop Kiara. But the trusty and experienced Rafiki held her there for a few minutes and pulled here back, before giving her to Nala.
They headed back into the hallway. Pumbaa was seen. Simba called him.
"Come, let's feast."
