Change 2 // Yoonmin

☽ 10 ☾

Yoongi walked with heavy steps towards the main building of the pack where the head Alpha housed and where most pack gatherings were hold. Not knowing why the head Alpha called for the latter, he took his time reaching the building.

A smile was on his face once he remembered what happened throughout the last days. He enjoyed his days off with his loved one and he barely wanted to go back to work.

He sighed once he pushed open the heavy doors and entered the long hallway. Walking up the stairs, he greeted some of his pack mates.

Yoongi knocked on the door three times and heard a small 'come in', so the male entered the room and shut the door close. "What is it that you called me for, Kibum?" The obviously smaller male asked the older while sitting down on a chair across of the other Alpha.

"You might already guess why I called you in." I looked ahead of me, pretending to have no idea what he talked about, even if I had a clue.

"November 5th." My eyes widened and I shook my head. "This is barely 4 weeks away!" He couldn't be serious.

"I don't see the problem here, Yoongi. You've already mated, so there will be no problem about finding a Luna. Also you proved your loyalty throughout the past months so I can conscientiously hand over my position to you."  He said matter of factly.

"Well, right we mated but we hadn't had the official mating ceremony yet! You know exactly that the pack won't accept him as their Lina because of that!" Yoongi huffed, now standing on his two feet, hands pressed against the desk in front of him.

"No problem, we can just combine the two ceremonies." Now the elder also stood up and walked towards the window, his hands placed behind his back.

"No! That's exactly the problem here! Jimin hasn't shifted yet!" Yoongi blurted out, his hands quickly covering his mouth and eyes widening.

"Oh? He didn't? Three months passed since the incident, right? He should be able to shift by now." Kibum exclaimed, now turning around to face the trueblood.

Yoongi gulped, eyes averting elsewhere. "Don't tell me he hasn't even tried to shift yet?" Yoongi avoided this topic, fearing to actually introduce Jimin to the world he always belonged to but was expelled from his whole life.

The head Alpha took the silence as an answer and walked back to his desk, sitting down. "Take a seat, Yoongi."

Yoongi complied, hesitantly taking a seat again. Looking up, he saw the demanding eyes of his leader and he was forced to talk. "His wolf hasn't really come out yet. That's why I didn't want him to violently force his wold out to shift. This might not be a big deal to us but imagine you're in his spot. All your life you were rejected from everything supernatural but then suddenly everything changes." Yoongi sighed before he continued.

"It's not only his body that has to adapt to the changes but also his psyche. He's been through a lot so I just couldn't bring it upon myself to address this issue to him."

"Yoongi, listen to me. We all know what might happen if you close of your wolf for too long. It's important for him to embrace this side. He has suppressed it already for this long and I don't know how long it might take until his wolf leashes out. And we all know it'll be too late if it does. You must speak to him and trigger his wolf. I know you will find a solution. Even if it's forcefully."

Yoongi knew it. He knew it too damn well but he didn't know what to do.

A/n Haha, finally a new chapter oof🥲 I was really busy but I think I'll be able now to update more often, since I worked on a ff for my bestie's birthday :)
