Chapter7- Teddy Bear Won't Hurt His Kitten

(Toby's P.O.V)

I sat on the bed waiting. Waiting to hear a scream, a yell, a bang, anything. I didn't hear anything though. Finally after what felt like forever Jack opened the door, looking behind him at Jane. I heard Jane say his name and he nodded, turning back to me after closing and locking the door. He sat on the bed handing me a bag of chips.

"A-anything happen?"

"No. Everyone was in Jeffs room talking."

"T-they were? O-oh..."

"Yeah, and you know how you were anxious about them hating us?"

"Y-yeah? W-were they m-mad?"

"Oh yeah they were pissed-"

I looked at Jack, I was starting to grip the blankets tight, trying to calm down. Jack touched my hand and looked at me, smiling.

"They were pissed, but not at us. They were pissed at Jeff. Everyone I heard was yelling at Jeff for being a bitch towards you. Like I said, everything is ok."

I hit his arm playfully, but also a bit angrily.

"T-thats for scaring me-"

I kissed him.

"Thats for r-r-reassuring me."

I started eating my chips and relized he was just holding the kidney he'd gotten to his side. I looked at it, and then looked at him confused. I finnished the 4 or 5 chips I'd thrown into my mouth.

"W-why aren't you e-eating?"

"Oh, I'm not hungry."

He started rubbing the back of his neck. I could tell he was lying. I guess he didn't want to eat infront of me for some reason.

"J-jack?"

"Yeah?"

"Yo-u know you c-can eat inf-f-front of me r-right? I don't c-care."

"I just don't want to scare you."

"You won't, and I-I know you haven't e-eaten in a whi-ile."

Jack looked at the kidney, and then at me. I started eating the chips again. I heard a squishing sound. I looked over and Jack had taken a bite, blood smeared on his face. His blue-grey-ish tounge wrapped around the kidney, using his sharp teeth to take another bite. He looked away, i guess he was uncomfortable.

"Im sorry, I-i didn't mean to stare. I was curious..." I looked down at my feet, and I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Its fine, im done now."

"Holy shit you ate that fast!"

He giggled a bit and looked at me.

"I just tried to eat fast so I could talk to you."

I gave him hug, and leaned into his shoulder. Fuck anyone who got in the way of us, I loved this freaking teddy bear so much.

(Ej's P.O.V)

I was holding Toby to my side. It seemed like we took turns caring for eachother. One minute I'd be in his arms, the next he'd be in mine. I can emit I did eat that kidney rather fast. I was just kinda uncomfortable with people watching me eat, and Toby was starring. I can understand why he did though, its not everyday you watch someone eat a human kidney next to you. I decided to get up to go get Toby some more chips that way i wouldn't have to get up again tonight. I said I'd be back and went off. It was almost 7 and I think most the pastas went to bed. Jane was on the couch watching Ben play his games. I went and grabbed some more chips and on the way looked at Jane.

"Hey Jack, are you and Toby ok? Jeff was being a real fucking jerk."

"Tobys fine I calmed him down earlier, and im fine. Just kinda pissed at the edgy jackass."

I started to walk away towards my room. I passed by Tim's room on the way. I heard Tim and Brian talking, and I stopped to listen for a minute.

"Tim what do you mean?"

"I mean-" I heard him sigh, "I mean that Jeff is right."

"Wha...what?" Brian sounded a tiny bit upset.

"I mean hes right, Toby and Jack shouldn't be dating."

Brian was silent for a second.

"Whats- whats wrong with the dating?" His voiced cracked, he sounded like he was on the verge of tears.

"I just don't like Jack, Tobys gonna get hurt. Doesn't he know that Jacks a fucking cannibal?? For fucks sake hes going to get himself killed! I just don't trust him."

"So, its not because their gay?"

"What? No of course not, Brian why'd-" He stopped and I heard him move around.

"No, if your asking, if not homophobic. I just don't like Jack. Sorry- I didn't mean to say it like that."

I walked away. I was not about to tell Toby this cause he looked up to Tim. I may have to have a littletalk with Tim though. I would Never hurt Toby.
