Today:
She nervously approaches Rin, the last time they met, things didn't end well. Tonight was about standing up for yourself, she was determined to hold her stance.
Rin was at the bar, as she approached, she looked up, with a sombre look on her face. They greeted each other with a hug, I mean for a friendship so fierce, the least they could do was hug.
Rin immediately started rambling about all things unfair, she flipped, Rin was always the calm one, who didn't react and kept her opinions to herself, but since that day, it was the opposite.
"HOW DARE YOU GO BEHIND MY BACK, AND HERE I THOUGHT LOYALTY MEANT SOMETHING TO YOU, YOU'RE A SLUT WHO COULDN'T LIVE WITH HERSELF"
"Rin calm the fuck down, none of this was meant to happen, I legit had no idea he felt so"
"YEAH RIGHT, THE LEAST YOU COULD DO WAS INFORM ME, AND YET HERE YOU ARE PICKING AFTER MY LEFT OVERS."
She realised the conversation was pointless, there was no coming back. She suddenly got up, "Look, I don't care whether or not you believe me, but clearly you have a lot to say, so I'm going to end this here. Let's not be immature about it. I don't feel that way about him at all. If I did setting you guys up would have been the last thing I would have done. I'm going to be the bigger person here. Take care of yourself bitch."
She abruptly turned and left. She started walking, she felt nothing, she was tired of all the judgements and hate she was recieving, it was time to stop trying to prove herself to others. From now it was just her. Enough of lowering you're own self esteem based on what others think about you. Enough of reacting to stupid rumours. Enough.
She walked back home, only to be at the recieving end of an hour of lecture from her parents about coming home late. She took it all in. Numb as she slipped into the bed covers. Amongst the dead of the silence, her phone pinged, multiple times, it was HIM.
