Char and Journey sat at their large marbled island eating dinner and taking about Journeys day at school. "Mommy I have a new boyfriend, his name is Jared!" Journey announced excitedly. Playfully rolling her eyes Char laughed and told her she was way too young for a boyfriend and that's she's gonna have to break up with little Jared. Just as Journey was about to protest Quan walked into the kitchen "it smell good in here baby, whatchu cook?" Questioned Quan. "I made steak, loaded baked potatoes, asparagus and a salad .... for me and Journey." "Damn fr? It's like that?, and you wonder wh-"he decided against saying what he was going to say and just walked out after kissing Journey on her head. "Yep it's like that" sighed Char after he had already left.
It had been a week since Char walked in on Quan and some random hood rat sitting at Chic-fill-a. She still hadn't said anything and she didn't plan on it either. Char was a very smart girl and she knew how to play her cards right, unlike Quan who was very messy with his antics causing him to repeatedly get caught. She had already planned on dropping Journey off at her moms house and going out this Friday with her girls. She had a lot of steam to blow off and above all, after all these years of being faithful she wanted her revenge.
After stepping out of the shower, wrapping herself in her towel and turning her music off Char walked into her bedroom to see Quan jump and lock his phone setting it face down. All she did was laugh and roll her eyes, she didn't even care anymore at this point. Quan looked at her with a mug "what's funny?, you must think you know sum or got sum to complain about like always."he said guiltily. She just looked at him and laughed and continued to rub herself down with her lavender scented baby oil. She wasn't going to argue with the him, she didn't even have the energy. Even though she didn't know it that really caught Quan off guard he definitely wasn't used to her having nothing to say. Char finished getting ready for bed then laid down.They didn't speak for the rest of the night and slept with their backs opposite of eachothers.
Groaning and rubbing her eyes Char snatched her phone and turned off her screeching alarm letting her know it was 7:00am and time to get up and get Journey ready for a school. Turning over she found the space on the bed next to her empty and just rolled her eyes. "Don't even trip"she thought to herself then jumped up to wash her face and brush her teeth. She helped Journey get herself together although she was a very independent 3 year old and had a great eye for fashion already so she basically did everything by herself. They stoped at McDonald's before dropping babygirl off at daycare then Char headed home ate her food and went back to sleep.
It was 1:00pm already by the time Char woke up. She got up, washed her face and brushed her teeth again. After standing at the entrance of her walk in closet she chose a simple, cute outfit a pink 2 piece chill set with her brown fluffy slides & her brown MCM tote bag. She never had to do too much she looked good effortlessly . Char had plans on going to the mall to find something new to wear out this Friday. Spraying on her Creed Love perfume she looked in the mirror one last time, grabbed her keys then left.

She walked into the mall and picked up and few stank faces from a couple hating bitches and some lusting eyes from men she would never give a chance. She walked into the Fendi store and began browsing around when she smelled a strong but not too strong scent of Dior men's cologne and felt a hand slightly touch her waist "excuse me ma" said a tall dark skin man. "You know you ain't have to touch me to get by" Char said flirting a little bit. "I know, I know you just look good as fuck I can't lie" he admitted. His accent really came out when he said that and it did something to Char. She looked down and bit her lip when he said that to her because although everyone around her seen how beautiful she was Quan hurt her so bad that her confidence within herself was shot. The two chatted for a while and figured out they both were going the same place Friday night and decided they should link. They exchanged numbers and she let him know that she had a bf but she still was down to link and he let her know it was "fuck yo boyfriend, he ain me." She liked his vibe she was with it.
After buying her a new outfit, bag & pair of heels. She walked to her pink jeep she bought after she graduated high school as a gift to herself. As soon as she got in she FaceTimed her girls and told them about everything starting from the other day when her and Quan argued to the fact that she just gave another man her number. Together they hyped her up and plotted about her next move. Well all of them except Tiara who only listened and chimed in every once in a while.
