Afternoon nap

Promotions were in full swing and you hadn't had a chance to see your boyfriend Yonghoon in what felt like forever. Monday was the first time he hadn't been stuck practicing or at a music show all day, so he'd suggested after they'd finished filming for simply kpop you could grab a coffee and spend some quality time together.

You were about to leave the house and head to the cafe when your phone rang.
"Hey Y/N." It was Yonghoon. "I'm so, so, so sorry. I'm missing you like crazy but honestly I can barely keep my eyes open. Think we could meet another day?"
Your heart sank. He did sound exhausted, but it was already so hard not seeing him in so long, and you'd been really looking forward to this.
"Why don't I join you at the dorms instead? It sounds like you could do with someone to take care of you", you suggested.
"Brilliant idea, why didn't I think of that? I can't guarantee I'll still be awake when you get here though so let yourself in. I love you" and he blew a kiss through the phone.
"Love you too. See you soon."

You arrived 30 minutes later, after swinging by Yonghoon's favourite place for dakgalbi. You entered as quietly as possible, peering round in to the living room. Your boyfriend was slumped fast asleep on the sofa, the rom com he'd been watching still playing on his laptop. You guessed the others were in their beds, but he'd stayed there to wait for you. He really was so sweet. It seemed almost a shame to wake him, his face so peaceful, accentuating the natural cuteness of his features. Setting the bag on the table you knelt down next to him and gently kissed his cheek.
"Hey sleeping beauty," you whispered, "wanna wake up for some food?"
Yonghoons eyes fluttered open and the moment he recognised it was you his face lit up with the most beautiful smile.
"I've missed you so much" he said, pulling you in for a gentle kiss.

You ate curled up together on the sofa, Yonghoon restarting the movie he'd been watching (he'd fallen asleep 5 minutes in). The plot was ridiculous, but somehow watching with Yonghoon made it enjoyable. The volume was turned low as to not bother the others, your comments to each other just whispers. It felt comfortable and intimate, a rare moment just for the two of you.

After you finished eating you put the leftovers in the fridge and settled back down next to your love. "What do you want to do now?" you asked.
"I'm still realy tired," Yonghoon pouted a little "want to take a nap?"
Comeback had been pretty rough on you too. There was so much content to keep up with and you'd been streaming the MV almost 24/7. You realised a nap sounded really good about now.

The two of you decided the temporary privacy of the living room sofa was nicer than moving to Yonghoon's bed in the room he shared with Harin and Hyungu. The afternoon sunlight gave the room a golden hue, dreamlike and romantic. It had also made the room a cozy temperature. Yonghoon lay mostly on his side, tilted just enough that you could rest your head on his chest. The sofa wasn't very big and at first trying to lie next to him you almost toppled off backwards, but he quickly pulled you in close. One hand rubbed comforting circles on your back, the other wrapped tightly round your waist. Yonghoon's face snuggled into the top of your head, planting gentle kisses and murmuring words of affection. Whenever you were curled up with him like this, sleep seemed to come so much more easily. His familiar smell almost like cinamon hot chocolate, his warmth, his arms that felt so secure but gentle around you, the little ways he showered you with affection even while dozing off, all these simple things made you feel so safe, so loved. You could feel your body relaxing and your eyes growing heavy, but you were just about awake enough to whisper "I love you".
"I love you too" you heard Yonghoon reply, then drifted off to sleep.
