No one ever suspected Xiao to be interested in a mer mortal nor fond over one, even after how many years he was alive Xiao had never wanted a relationship with the people of liyue not even the people in wangshu inn he would only interact with staff when he requested his tofu. Xiao's obsession started when wangshu inn needed new staff members after many of the workers had left to do business that pays more or is retiring from old age. After word got spread out to the people of liyue caught a certent attention from that of y/n. They needed a job for a while since their grama had recently passed and debt that y/n's grama had been burden by for so long. Y/n had recently heard about this debt and now is in a sticky situation to get her debt lift in 2 months. Their grama did not want to burden them by mentioning the debt but with her unfortunate passing never got to tell y/n. Now y/n is waiting for an interview outside of wangshu inn to see if they are capable of working there. While y/n waits a person or rather a certain adepti's attention.
