The last month of the only freedom that I had left was almost entirely gone. Today I was moving into Alessandro's house, the movers had worked quickly.

"Ms. Williams." I looked up meeting with the petite lady who called me, "I'm Layla, or Ms. Jones. Whichever you prefer to call me is fine, I'm the housekeeper, I could show you to Mr. Rossi's room if you'd like."

"Actually Layla, if there's any chance could you show me to a spare bedroom."

"Of course ma'am, this is your house after all. You just let me know whatever you need and I'll get if for you." She walked me upstairs, into a spare bedroom. The room looked normal. The bedsheets were white the walls were covered in a nude very neutral color.

"Thank you. If by any chance you see Alessandro, please tell him I'm very busy." I asked, as she shook her head.

I didn't want to see him. It was only us two in the house, along with the other house staff. They were all polite, and very welcoming. But I didn't want to be here. I didn't want him to be trashed in any way by the media. But my mother wouldn't see the light. If anything I'm going to make sure he doesn't give her any money.

My boxes eventually all arrived in my room. Thankfully everything I needed was here and I didn't have to walk outside. I grabbed my laptop and opened it up. There was already tabloids.

Alessandro Rossi, the most wanted billionaire is rumored to be getting hitched.

There was many negatives to potentially being in the public. No privacy, nobody have boundaries, and just a shitload of pressure. I didn't want this. I wasn't made for this.

I closed my computer setting it aside as I walked over to my boxes. I spent a couple of hours setting everything up where I wanted it to. I opened the drawers grabbing a fresh set of comfort clothes, and headed to the bathroom.

I turned on the water placing it to be warm, I stripped my clothes off and entered the shower. I massaged my head with shampoo trying to get rid of the pressure I was feeling. I washed my body off and rinsed my hair completely, and stepped out wrapping myself in the warm towel. I changed quickly, then untangled my hair continuing with the rest of my nightly routine.

I paced back to the bedroom, sitting on top of the comforter.

"Come in." I said after I heard a knock at the door.

"Ms. Williams, Mr. Rossi is requesting you downstairs for dinner." Layla's voice rang.

"I apologize for making you go back and fourth, I won't be joining him, if you could pass on the message. Just tell him I'm sleeping please, you would be doing me the greatest favor."

"Yes ma'am." She answered sending me a smile, "you sleep well."

"Thank you, you too." I responded as she excited the room. I turned off the lights, instantly getting under the covers. I closed my eyes thinking of where I was in life at the moment.

I'm getting married. And with that thought I drifted off.

"You want me to marry your daughter?"

"Yes, well this would make a great improvement to Lionels company. Speaking of my husband, he doesn't like this idea, so don't bring it up to him until we speak to Adria." She mentioned as she walked around my office space.

"And what would this to do for me? I don't need a wife, I'm doing good on life, I have everything I need."

"This could boost you, the most eligible bachelor getting married, people want to see you settled down, not at parties sleeping with randoms. A family man, this could do you good." She added.

"And if she doesn't want to get married, I can't do anything about it."

"She will, I have that under control. You just have to say I do." She smiled grabbing her belongings, "I'll be in touch."

I knew of Adria Williams, I've done business with her father. I've been to countless of parties, spotting her around from time to time. She was beautiful, and elegant. She had her own business, which was impressive, she most likely had her life planned out.

"James, I need information of a Adria Williams, anything and everything you can find send it to me."

"Yes sir." He responded as he walked into his office space.

It was a new day, new opportunities but much to my dismay it left open times to see people I would love to not see. I styles my hair quickly curling some part to give it wavy illusion. I changed out of my night clothes into a white blouse, with a black pencil skirt that stopped right above my knees. I added a pair of stockings underneath, a black small jacket and a pair of black heels.

Once I finished I walked out of the room hoping Alessandro was gone by now. Immediately meeting with Layla by the staircase.

"Good morning Ms. Williams, do you need anything? Would you like me to serve you breakfast, or get a driver for you."

"There's no need Layla, I'll pick something up on my way to work, don't worry."

"James will be taking you to work and back." Alessandro's voice boosted behind us, causing me to stand up straighter.

"Thank you Layla, I'll see you later." I said as I walked down the stairs carefully, as I felt a presence behind me.

"You didn't eat yesterday." I heard as I stepped outside.

"I wasn't hungry." I said simply, walking towards James as he opened up the car door.

"You have to eat, it's not healthy. Adria wait." He said as he stopped my movements by pulling me closer to him.

"I know this isn't what you expected, but you need to take care of yourself. I'm picking you up after work." I pulled my arm away and walked over to the car and sat inside.

"We should arrive in about fifteen minutes Ms. Williams." James spoke out as he started up the car.

"That's fine, thank you James."
