GEORGE POV:
"Let's hang out tomorrow!"
"No, Charlie...Actually, I need to spend some time with my friend, he's been acting really depressed lately...I told you about this.."
"So you'll leave me for some online guy?"
"He isn't some online guy."
"Let him spend time making money, Gogy. You should have fun with me!"
(I'm sorry, I know i said no 4th wall breaks last chapter but I SEE ALL OF YA'LL TAKING THAT OUT OF CONTEXT.)"I CAN'T LET HIM MAKE MONEY ALONE! HE FLEW HERE TO VISIT ME CHARLIE. ME!"
"Visit you why? Because he wanted to please his fans. So that the boyfriends finally met."
"No, he did not."
Charlie sighed, tightening the arm around my shoulder. Wait, when did that get there?
"You'll see Gogy. He's just using you, and I'm talking from experience. I've had people do this sort of thing to me."
"Listen Charlie. I'm sorry such a thing happened, but Dream isn't that sort of person!"
I shoved his arm off.
He sighed again.
"GEORGE!" I froze.
There was no way.
"Hey! I'm guessing you're Charlie?"
No way.
"And who might you be?"
I hurriedly backed away onto a park bench so I couldn't hear them anymore.
What. The. Hell.
I stared at my shoes, feeling the wind blow my hair back a bit, probably revealing my terrified eyes to the world.
What on earth was SAPNAP doing here? How did he know where I was? Did he bring Clay? What does he want? Is he trying to force me home? Is he mad? Why did he come? Is he going to yell at me? WHY IS HE HERE?
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my back.
Huh?
I turned to look up at Sapnap to apologize profusely, but was instead met by the worried piss-yellow eyes of the blob man himself.
I still tried to apologize profusely.
I wanted to say that I didn't know what had gotten into me, that I didn't mean to hang out with Charlie so much, that if he would forgive me, we could spend the rest of our time together properly and I might be able to extend his visit. That he didn't have to invite Sapnap over just for this. That's what I wanted to say.
Instead, the only things that came out of me were tears.
You dramatic, dramatic author.
Through my blurry eyes, I could make out Clay's expression turning from one of worry to shock, and then back to worry before I was enveloped in an embrace that reminded me not of the incident that started this is the first place, but the heart-warming hug I'd gotten from my best friend on the day he'd arrived.
It had none of the awkwardness of our second hug, and all of the warmth and comfort of the first. My head was tightly tucked under his chin and my arms had found their way around his hoodie-clad body. I smiled a waterly smile realizing for the first time that he was wearing one of my favorite hoodies, knowing that even though he couldn't see it, he could feel it.
His chin rested on my hair, tilted slightly downwards so his lips lightly tickled the area. Our arms were wrapped so tightly around each other, I didn't think I'd ever been closer to another person. Which isn't saying much, considering I'm not much of a hugger, but still.
I took a few deep breaths, remembering what he did when I was panicking in the haunted house and started mumbling apologies against his collar bone, hoping he could hear me. I didn't remember his collar bone being visible at the haunted house. I'd have to ask him about that later.
He hasn't even said anything, and you're already a mother hen again.
I shook my head slightly, a small grin on my face.
"Don't worry about it Gogy. We'll talk later, you're not in trouble."
Gogy.
Hearing him call me that again only made me cry harder and clutch onto him tighter while he did the same. I didn't know how long had passed of us doing nothing but sitting on the bench, in a comfortable embrace and silence before a third pair of arms joined us.

(no this is not the end of the chapter, we've got a bonus scene cause I feel nice. you're welcome)

Sippy Cup POV:
"My arms hurt from hugging you, Gogy."
"Do you want me to kiss them?"
"Will you do it if I tell you they hurt?"
"I might."
"My lips hurt Gogy."
The water previously in George's mouth spewed everywhere as he sat straight up and stared directly into Clay's soul.
Clay stared at him for a second. I'd noticed them doing this sort of thing a lot lately. Staring at each other whether the other was looking or not, randomly holding hands, being all lovey dovey. It made me wonder whether they were dating in secret or something.
Then I started laughing and trying to talk at the same time.
"I-...L-leave him alone DreAmJKNFAJEFNAEF" [ :) ]
Both Dream and George stopped admiring each(lovebirds) other and diverted their gaze to me.
"Dream, your wheezing spirit has found a new host."
"NOOOOOOOO, my love, my clout, my wHeEzE-"
And the og. teapot started wheezing too and even George couldn't hold back a smile.
I remember coming out of my room that night to fetch a glass of water and finding them asleep on the couch together, the two nimrods I called my friends. My closest friends.
And I knew that they were all I could ask for.
