You and Zoey are stumped on what your next move should be. You were still $2500 short from the bail goal. You decided that you would watch a little tv, to calm yourself from stressing too much. You were switching through the channels when you came upon the lottery winnings. That gave you an idea, but it was risky though.
"We could try to win the lottery!" You tell Zoey excitedly.
"Are you crazy! We just got this money!" Zoey had a point.
You knew it was risky, but if you do win, you can get Dastardly back and it won't be all for nothing. Zoey finally gave in and decided to try the lottery. You both drive down to the nearest shopping center and start out with 10 $5 lottery tickets to see if you could win $50,000. You and Zoey scratch them all, but no luck.
You, however, were too desperate to get your fiance out of jail that you convince Zoey to go biy more. You brought more amd more and more until you ran out of cash. Still no luck.
"(Y/N) WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Zoey yells.
"I don't know! I.I wasn't myself. I'm too desperate. We NEED to get him out of that horrible place, and now we can't." (Y/n) says sadly.
Zoey looks surprised that you would give up so easily. She tried to stop you from doing it, but it was no use. You run to your room in tears, thinking you'd never see Dastardly again. Your child would be fatherless. It was too much to handle.
