Hey guys in this chapter Ash and Serena have just met each other after 5 years!

"Serena?" Ash said in a hollow voice

"Ash I've missed you so much!" Serena said whilst jumping into Ash's arms

"I've missed you to Serena" said Ash whilst embracing the hug

"Looks like you two are finally together again then?" Grace said with a grin on her face.

"Yeah it looks that way" Serena said whilst snuggling up into Ash's chest.

Serena pulls away slowly

But Ash if your here then you must be...

"The friend professor Sycelmor sent to see the new trainer" Ash said with a broad smile

Serena felt her heart pounding fast and her checks fluttering.

Ash? Serena said calmly You came all the way here to give me a starter Pokemon?

"Yeah, but I'll be honest. I actually didn't know it was for you" Ash said with a grin on his face

"If I'd of known I would of got here faster" Ash said with a warm smile.

Serenas POV

"So Ash whats the choices?" Serena said 

"Froakie, Fennekin or Chespin" Ash said after placeing the 3 starter Pokeballs on the table.

"I think I may of already made up my mind Ash" Serena said with a smile

"Who might that be?" Ash said with a perplexed look on his face.

"I choose Fenekin Serena" said with a smile on her face

"Ok here you go then" Ash said whilst handing her the Pokeball.

Serena couldnt help it, being given her first ever Pokemon from Ash.

She became so exited and so happy the second Ash but the Pokeball in her hand she jumped into his chest and hugged him.

"Thank you Ash, for being the one who gives me my first Pokemon" Serena said whilst blushing

Hey, no problem Ash said whilst holding her in his arms.

Ash's POV

"Well now that were together again I guess I should ask her the question we promised back when we were little" Ash thought to himself.

"Serena" Ash said quietly

"Yes Ash, whats up?"

I was wondering if maybe you wanted to.. come on a journey with me through the Kalos region as I would love to travel with you like we promised when we were younger Ash said with slight suttleness in his voice.

"Yeah I would love to Ash!" Serena squeaked and hugged Ash even tighter.

Plus I wouldnt like travelling by myself anyway.

"Thats great to hear" Ash said happily but put his head down slightly to avoid showing Serena that he was blushing.

"I have a few friends back at Lumiose City who are also travelling with me" Ash said

"Clemont and Bonnie" Ash said with a smile.

"Are they nice people?" Serena said in a quiet voice.

"There a nice as you so there perfect" Ash said whilst smiling at the honey haired girl.

Serena was blushing really badly now

"Well then I think its time that you guys get going down to Lumiose City then" Grace said with a smile.

"Yeah that sound great!" Ash and Serena said in usion.

Ash and Serena walk out the door.

"Im so glad that im getting to travell with you Ash" Serena said whilst blushing

"Me to Serena, I wouldnt miss travelling with you for the world" Ash said with a smile.

Ash and Serena are now on their way to Lumiose City!
